The critiques are not hate. this country is going down the toilet because everyone has all this ego and think their mediocrity is just incredible. It was a mediocre performance that was stiff, off tempo and pretty much a waste of energy. These kids must not get out much to be so impressed by this. Go look at Mike Shrieves drum performance at Woodstock at age 19-that was incredible.

A bit odd that this recommended video shows up just after I watched Jimi Hendrix playing "All Along the Watchtower"... But I'm glad it did!

Boy, there are quite a lot of guitar experts that no one's ever heard of chiming in. He's not Hendrix, he's a high school kid. The simple act of even playing the National Anthem in high school is rare these days, so good for him and the cheering students. USA! USA! USA!

It wasn't recommended to me, I just happen to come across it while I was listening to some of Slash just playing his solos. So maybe some that got this recommended to this was listening to something similar. Could have been listening to your favorite guitarist lead you to him play. Not sure but I think he did an awesome job. 😀😁

The last time I heard that done on an electric guitar was at Woodstock in 1969. This kid has talent.

He did not do bad. It’s arguably harder to play slow and precisely in front of a crowd than it is to sweep pick or “shred” a bunch of notes. He obviously isn’t jimmy hendrix but he did a good job and only fucked up on that one harmonic. It was cool and props to the school for putting that on
