Oh, I just realised what would be utterly amazing to pull off for next year! You should entirely flip the notes of a piano, playing the low notes with the right hand and the high notes with the left hand. Then of course inviting a musician to play on your piano and watch them as they go from "sure thing bby" to "what the f*ck am I supposed to do with this?!?".

That makes it relative pitch like the rest of us She has a very well trained relative pitch Probably better than mine... and I've been doing music for 20 years and have a degree in music technology I could work it out the way she has... But perfect pitch would mean she knows the note without needing to find it on her own keyboard

So as soon as I saw him in the videocall, I suspected it was him and I grabbed my phone to check the KZread channel, but from the miniature of the picture I still wasn't 100% sure. Hence I thought it would have been awkward to just tell him "oh it's you", if maybe in the end it wasn't actually him. That's why, out of politeness, I said something like "it's probably not you but... You are very similar to this guy" and he went like "that is actually me". And then we chatted for more than 1 hour and had a lot of fun 😂

I got an idea (but it might not be easy to do): exchange the thick and thin strings and tune the piano so that the high notes are on the left and the low notes on the right. Ask someone to play it. When he says something about it, say it's a lefthanded piano.

I'm not an expert, but I've studied music time ago and I know that the black keys are in that specific places because they represent the semitones For example: Between Mi (E) and Fa (F) there is only one semitone, while between Sol (G) and La (A) there is a tone, so we have a black key (Sol# or La♭) Thanks to this change, we can have all the keys one semitone different I know probably all of you know this, but if you don't know anything about music (like me), this sounds interesting

@@silversunset No. If someone fails to ask a question when they need help, that doesn't make them stupid in the slightest. They may have some degree of social anxiety, feel as if asking would make them appear stupid to others, or are just content to figure it out for themselves no matter how difficult something is. Among other reasons. I believe you and OP need to have a bit of a rethink. I mean, you're both teetering dangerously upon the edge of irony.

Bless this first woman's heart. I just gotta say that's a very digital pianists thing to say "your piano is broken" as opposed to just "it's really REALLY out of tune". XD Piano tuning is a heck of a process though, I can't imagine how long it took you to do that.

@@aaronbrown8377 Is there away a piano can accidentally get tuned that way? I can't think of a mechanical failure that would result in all E's...a bit like saying you dropped a cup and it reassembled itself into a perfect unbroken sphere.
