iTravel2000 Presents "St Vincent and the Grenadines"

This is a trip documentary showcasing a visit by the iTravel2000 crew to the beautiful island nation of St Vincent and the Grenadines. The trip includes various places of interest as well as recommended accomodations. It was filmed in 2011 before the full inception of the new all-inclusive luxury resort: Buccament Bay Resort so no mention of it was made in the film.

Brought back fond memories from my trips home to SVG. I found this video insightful and pleasure to see the villas/rooms on Young Island, Bequia & Palm Island. I agree these chain of islands are a Jewel in Caribbean, and to think you didn't get to visit Union, Petit St Vincent, Union, Mustique, Canouan and Mopion. I plan to be very soon to enjoy the beauty of life. Thank you for this visual reminder of why I love going back home to St Vincent & Grenadines.

i love my home sooomuch, but you didn't go to most of the exquisite places on the islands, especially on bequia, you didnt even show the harbor and what goes on, the market, going down to Hamilton, or even the Belmont walk-way and the beach side guest house, restaurants and bars, you didn't mention anything about the dive schools which do offer certificates and also the Princes Margret beach which is one of the best beaches on the island and the Lower bay Beach also known as The Reef, the turtle sanctuary and the Spring Estate, please take time to admire these beautiful sites and sites or attraction and others in the other Grenadine Islands, i also recommend going to these Grenadine Islands during Easter, Summer and Christmas vacation. But over all, its a great video, I enjoy it, personally i spend most of my time in bequia and few time in the Grenadines and i never look at it that way until you begin to speak about the beauty

Seriously you will miss out on a lot if you spend anything less than two weeks on exploring these islands. Climb La Soufriere volcano, visit at least one waterfall, visit the Botanical gardens or the Montreal Gardens, Hike through the Vermont Nature Trail, golf on Canouan island, shop and visit the turtle sanctuary on Bequia, kite surf in Union Island and snorkel in any of the many diving spots throughout the island chain.

I like how she's smiling like crazy when she talks about how the canons are there so that the British could bomb the Kalina-go people. As if that was a great thing.

It’s never packed with tourists the island infrastructure is almost non existent for any of the “tourist attractions” mostly when the cruise ship do dock people always leave disappointed. The streets of Kingstown smell like piss you are harassed by locals for money and alway smells like weed. The police actually harass tourist and don’t enforce anything. (Police in Saint Vincent are very poorly train. Watch them direct traffic) Every thing on this island is trashed the beaches are trashed all the tourist attractions are trashed. The hotel staff in Saint Vincent do not know anything about hospitality really they get angry and give you looks when you ask them to do something as simple as charge your credit card. Let’s be realistic this country is beautiful it has a lot going for it. If only the government wasn’t corrupt and the people cared about their Island it could be a tourist Mecca like Barbados, but I can’t blame the people either when most of your government employees are driving around in Audi’s and brand new cars while The roads remain unpaved or in need of serious repair you can’t even get water if it rains too much or electricity without paying a high price for it........

jbarah05 most if not all the negatives you've listed are true however we don't want to be a tourist mecca like Barbados. I personally love the mystique of vincy. You said most government employees are driving Audi, that's a lie. Public servants salary will not allow them to buy and pay import duty fees for those type of cars.

Book your vacation with another tour operator. Itravel2000 recently stole money from the shareholders that helped build this company. Their business practices are unethical and the holiday you book and pay for today might not be available to you when come to take it in a few months time. There are plenty of other reputable operators out there to choose from
