She paid $5 for the mattress! WOW! $500 would make a WORLD of difference to this woman! I'm upset! Kenton Chance, where can we donate to this woman? This interview is making me upset! You keep asking her these intrusive questions to make her feel bad about her circumstances, but what are you doing to help her? Calling her circumstances sad to her face is harsh when you aren't stepping in to help! She is trying to work hard for herself, so give us her information so we can make a difference in her life!

I am watching a reporter interviewing a lady and a son in Sandy Bay. Mr Ralph Gonsalves,please these people should not be living in such deplorable and sad condition. Why? for God's sake,they are sleeping on a sheet of plywood, the flooring Is all dirt,that lady and her son need immediate help.i cannot believe that in 2021in St.Vincent and the Grenadines,people are allowed to suffer for dwelling as well as food. Totally disgusting,politics,Ralph you should be ashamed of yourself. They're human, they're natives to that country. My stomach hurts looking at news report. Disgusting,how on earth can you sleep at night not giving a darn about these poor poor people. Surely the Government of st.vincentand the Grenadines,should have already taken steps to help these people.not just because of the damages done by the hurricane and the volcanic eruption but they should go around to he Island and assess the living situation of these people. When it's election time,they go around with their mouths full of promises, the poor people believe them because they make it sound so truthful. Listen up people, learn watch,listen and learn again. Without your votes they won't be in office,you put them there.

Government is supposed to help its people regardless of which political parties they support. Donors are watching you to see what you do with their money. This will determine how much help you will receive next time or at all. To anyone who is watching this video and can render any assistance to this woman, please do it.

The poor woman she is trying to survive under such extreme poverty, no utilities, no hygiene, no safety. This is something out of the 19th century. OMG.

This is where my family's from and Sandy Bay Post office takes all the mail for the people in Sandy Bay if you want to help her in some way.

Sad state of affairs, can't depend on government, the host needs to start a fund drive app walking all Caribbean ppl in the diaspora so we can help in any way we can. Please send the numbers for those ppl interviewed. Ppl could send barrels, monies, etc. We have to help each other. All our ppl have is hope. They need help

This is really bad last week Camillo was in the house of assembly bragging on zero poverty in SVG. I don't support any party but oh my God things are bad.

The government has been given enough monies in donations to start helping the people of svg..

This is so sad to see a woman and a child living in that condition. Now that it's been highlighted the MP for the area should do the decent thing and get her and the child a suitable place to live instantly. As an African, I were lucky to spent some years in St-Vincent. What a beautiful island. What amazing people. But at the same time , I we're chocked to see the level of poverty on which a large number of black and indigenous are living in while at the same time ,Portuguese descendants or fair's kin people have a far away better life.

Interviewer your questions are ridiculous, if you are highlighting the poor and needy to be help do so but don't shame them by your stupid questions. Her education, seriously. What does that have to do with anything, it seems you need life history and families history.

I cant believe people are living in such appaling condition. Whatt i find is that Kenton exposes these condition but falls very short of helping out. A good example of one Cornliffe who lived in a room in the back of an abandon fish market on thr shores of the Chsteaubelair beach. I have just found your channel and that’s because of hurricane Beryl all media vlogger are up and running. Anyway I’m digressing it’s is unbelievable how that woman is living she said her age 25 probably more like 27 born in 1994 and at the time of your interview 2021 just do the math. I have been too sandy bay and fancy in 1975 when I first went to SVG, I married a Vincentian. She came from a modest background living in a wooden house in Richmond hill close to Kingstown before moving to the UK where I met her in 1973. However this poor woman lives in abstract poverty imagine living like that everyday.
