Bequia and St. Vincent
A vacation to Bequia and St. Vincent with a side trip to the Tobago Cayes & Mayreau was an unforgettable experience and adventure. We saw family on my dad's side including Aunt Hannah, Shirley, Daniella, Camile, Simone & Wayne while experiencing the beautiful countryside of Richmond Hill in St. Vincent. Equally amazing was a ferry ride to the small island of Mayreau, where my mom was born and grew up. Mayreau is a place of paradise and simplicity with kind and engaging people who welcomed us into their hearts. The locals of all these islands were accommodating and made us feel part of their every day life. A highlight was the "dollar" bus in Bequia. Small vans would go back and forth on the winding road to Port Elizabeth picking up locals, students and tourists. In these small vans they would pack as many as 20 people along with food supplies, fishing gear and tools while everyone joked and participated with the seating arrangements as very loud island music played in the background. The tropics with it's abundance of fresh produce, tons of sunshine, enticing beaches, warm weather and entertaining locals made it difficult for us to leave it's charm.

Enjoyed your video so much, seeing other parts of the grenadines was great .My gr grandfather was born Richmond Hill name of George greaves, Grands were all from the Dorsetshire Hill area

I will go to Bequia just to stay at the Sugarapple Inn. You sold me on the hotel,, Who ever edited the Video gets a Super pat on the back ! ! Great job with the sound and voice overs etc ...

Thanks Voistin for your corrections. Much appreciated. Before the video was made,I did inquire many times when I was on the boat to the Tobago Keys. I guess there was too much rum punch and not enough specifics. Thanks again for watching.

next time you come and you want to do some land tour i can hook you up i now started to do tours i merge my video production and island tours so i can take you around to the dark view falls, black point tunnel , volcano and much more
