🤣Day 1 of doing her job, already wants a raise. How I know she's a millennial without her millennial-splaining to me several times in the video.
“Communicating with purpose while showcasing value in order to achieve a goal.” I love that! I screenshot it.

She absolutely has a point plus her delivery was clear and straight to the point
1. Identify the goal 2. Understand your audience 3. Communicate the value -what they get out of the deal 4. Express the need that u both want. By doing this you can combat the resistance felt through challenges

@@jadenluna7807 rhetoric means manipulative, this is more of 'you have needs and I have a deal to offer' kinda manipulative but end up being mutually beneficial

It was done in a 'soliloqui' - a play within a play. Saying what she needed to say as she was actually doing it in the delivery. Just wonderful!

I believe the word you've used here i.e. soliloquy has a different meaning from what you're suggesting and the spelling you've mentioned is incorrect too
Her confidence and the way she communicates 🔥🔥 I want to talk like her without saying aaaaamm ammmm for some time, Keisha is straight 🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️
You understood the assignment and girl you delivered. You're grace and femininity , delivery, tone, pitch the whole shebang! As a radio broadcaster who is shy about public speaking,. I'm doubly inspired. God bless you. This video made my day.
I had an "Aha" moment listening to this talk, I never thought personal communication needing a plan or strategy yet after this video and hindsight tells me I need to start so thank you, pure genius to use a personal as well as a professional scenario.
Really - "One of the best TED talks and definitely the best on this subject. Tight, no fluff and she packed in three integrated examples flawlessly." - Brand Creative Strategist, 10 years

Really… she said it’s how you say it and they gave tips exclusively on what to say and get this drum roll … know your audience and know what you want

@@troooooper100 nothing of any value was said. the last 2 minutes she insults you by saying how easy this presentation was. Are you so novice that you cannot see that the information here is the same you would get from a 1 minute google search? Set your standards higher or you will be a bottom barrel human forever. @@InzideEntertainment people can be at different levels of education. Do you realize that? Obviously there is value in her presentation considering they asked her to do one. Just cause you didn’t see value or learn anything new, doesn’t mean other people felt the same. Maybe this presentation was for freshmen students or for people just getting into marketing/communications

I don't know. The tongue taps are a little annoying. She speaks sense nonetheless.
This is concise and clear. As a inheritantly passive person I got some self work to do.
Keisha's talk was amazing. I learned so much! Her presentation was very clear, practical, relatable, and interesting. It's one of the very best presentations I've seen on the subject.

Yeah, I thought so too. I like it when people use plain English and drive straight to the point, and not use big words and run-on sentences to drive one insane.
Keisha, you addressed exactly what I needed to improve my communication goals. Loved your visual examples for each step. I’m certain many people who heard your talk have made major progress in obtaining their goals as a result of your talk.
I had to go back to the begining of the video, to review how Keisha applied the STRATEGIC COMMUNICATION throughout the whole video! Great!

Very great presentation of strategic communication . Learning how to do this and implement this skill when communicating with family, peers, and co-workers . Communication is vital to building healthy relationships ! Thank you for this TED talk 🙏🏾
Keisha your presentation was amazing!! With good communication skills. You can have anything you want. Communication, words, tone, frequency, vibration. We can effect people by what we say, or how we say it, is true.
Keisha *clearly* knows what she's talking about. Made such good points.💃🎯 The only reason why I think this has low views is because it's not as keyworded as much and the the KZread world is flooded, but the content is there.

Great video. Now I know more about communicating in the workplace. This ought to improve my workplace communication with clients, coworkers, and managers.
Words are important..No doubt about it...How to say it to get what you want is important too...Absolutely...But at the end of the day, action will always speak louder than words !!!
My supervisor sent this as a link to watch as we are home on remote for a work from home snow day. She sent to links and this was the first one that I chose and I am not dissatisfied. one of the important factors or takeaways for me is KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE. I live by this; I say this a lot when talking to my colleagues and personal friends whenever there may be a topic that someone may not agree upon. Very helpful and interesting. TY

Simply phenomenal

So true What you say is just as important as how u say it Strategic communications
Really nice method! Thank you for sharing. One regret was that the emails or DM she mentioned for her examples were not shared. This would have helped to really see what and how she wrote her responses. Tones, vocabulary etc..help tremendously especially since we’re looking at strategic communication. We only had the method without seeing the examples that supported it. That being said the method is fantastic. Thank you again!
This just solved my problems. Thank you for sharing
Thank you keisha 🌈
Man this Lady is smart😍this was quite informative! Definitely applying this method
