It's Angelina's World! | Angelina Jordan x Forsvarets Stabsmusikkorps "It's A Mans World" [REACTION]

Ойын-сауық

The POWERHOUSE that is Angelina Jordan has done it again. I know that "It's A Man's World" is a very popular song among vocalists, and she (per usual) doesn't disappoint with her rendition!

Jmax, Welcome to Angelina's world; you have just scratched the surface of her musical world. I followed her career back when she was 6yrs old, the first time in a Recording Studio with her Grandmother videotaping Angelina singing "I Who Have Nothing." After that, I knew she was a diamond in the rough, and her destiny was to become a singer by her performance that day. Then, at age 7, her mother entered Angelina on "Norway Got Talent," went her diamond shine performing "Gloomy Sunday" in the style of Billie Holiday and ending with her Jazz version of "Summertime." Please check out all 4 performances with your wife; she will love every song.

Every time I revisit this I am dumbfounded. It is obvious when Angelina extemporises we see the conductors head sharply go back. He is literally blown away. He invites the orchestra to give her a standing ovation after. This kind of virtuosity is unbelievable in a 12 year old. No wonder. Those who don't know Angelina can belt should watch this. Even though she can she does not over use it.

Awesome reaction and she wears no shoes based on a Promise she made when she was 6! She still holds to that Promise and even wrote a book about the experience, published when she was 9. It's available on her channel and all profits go to children's charities, God Bless!

On another recording / reaction to this song a person claimed to be a big James Brown fan and in live performances of his of this song, he would come offstage drenched in sweat, left it all onstage. But they said and i agree, Angelina puts as much soul into it as he did. [Edited for sp]

12 years old and taking on a classic song by 'The Godfather Of Soul', Mr. James Brown, and then blowing it past the stratosphere with ease. Had she sung this at The Apollo Theater in Harlem , NY, before the toughest 'Black Soul' critics on the planet, she would have garnered a standing ovation which is quite rare when it comes to White performers appearing there.

Angelina just SLAYS this, liked that you caught the female clarinet players face, but that last belt the conductor just looks over and shakes his head like "I give up, what vitamins does she TAKE?!?!?!" Just an outright demo from Angelina that erases ANY doubts she's a PRODIGY, an old timer here at 11yrs old.. but she continues to build upon a God given gift... You're right JMAX, she's put on this earth to "Fly Me to the Moon" 🔥🔥🎹🎵🎶💕🎤🎸🎷

Tiny Little Girl Our tiny little girl with the grownup voice will be 17 on Jan. 10, 23 and is now 6'1" tall and could be a super model, but I hope the major portion of her career will be dedicated to her music and taking the world to a better place. I don't think she even realizes this power she holds over us and the need to hear that signature voice to fill that empty void within all of us. Angelina Jordan is in fact the "Benchmark" for all other vocalist to try as they might to achieve.

This was part of a concert given to celebrate the band's 200th anniversary and to promote the album they did together, called It's Magic. The sound quality is not the best here because no professional recording was allowed and the camcorder (smartphone?) was some distance away. Thanks for the close-up of the clarinet player. I hadn't seen that before, though I noticed the squeak.

Hi Miguel, thank you for your comment. Just to clear the air a little, I do really enjoy AJ and the talent that she has. This recording was an off day for me, mentally, which is what led to the low energy that you saw in this video. I don't want to bring sub-par content to this channel and I aim to be very transparent about how I feel about the artists that I watch. The past few days have also made me realize that I need to be transparent about where my mental state is because, obviously, I am unable to mask them. Either way, I am sorry if I gave the impression of being disingenuous through this video and I will try my best to ensure that I give you all my best self in anything that i release in the future. I hope you have a great day!

Stumbled onto your channel. Thanks for your support of Angelina. Looks like it's been a while since your last reaction. It also looks like you'd like to hear some of Angelina's original. There are many, but you can start with the more recent 2023 EP called Old Enough in which there were 6 originals. And of course there was the most recent headlining in Vegas on the same stage as Elvis.

The Staff Band of the Norwegian Armed Forces is a very prestigious brass band, quite famous in brass band circles. They made an album with Angelina called, "It's Magic", recorded over the winter of 2017 - 2018 as Angelina went from 11 to 12 years old. It took a few months to put the recordings together, get CD's made, etc. So when this concert was held to release the album it was June. But ... Angelina was now 12 and 1/2, and in the middle of the crazy growth spurt that got her to 6' tall. She was a different singer, as everyone found out. The concert was a sellout and one of the people there was Erna Solberg, the Prime Minister of Norway. There is a post concert video of her meeting Angelina and the conductor and like that. The PM does all the talking ...

Hi Tom, as I undestand it, the concert was to honor the 200th anniversary of the bands existence. So the PM had more than one reason to come. She is a fan of AJ. You have a pleasant Christmas and a peaceful New Year. Elmar from Germany. Thanks for explaining AJ to the reactors.

OK Jmax -- Here's a suggestion. This singer has been called the greatest singer living yet he's almost unknown in the West. He's from Kazakhstan. He has a 6-7 octave vocal range. He has perfect pitch and is trained in classical music AND contemporary music. The control he has on his voice and his breathing is phenomenal! His name is: Dimash Kudaibergen (known simply as Dimash). Oh, and he's only in his 20s! Here's the ones I suggest (in this order): S.O.S D'un Terrien En Détresse, often just called SOS - from 2021 (kzread.info/dash/bejne/c4l1tMyeqKa6nLQ.html); then Sinful Passion (Greshnaya strast (Sinful passion), 1999) (kzread.info/dash/bejne/iW16zqaGc9KefLg.html); finally Unforgettable Day - Gakku version -2017- This is the version where he hits a D8, one note lower than the E8 of Guiness Records in whistle tone (kzread.info/dash/bejne/p2lmuqainMmcYps.html) Enjoy these then you can go down the Dimash rabbit hole!

@@albertphilippi4371 I didn't mean to imply anything about the SOUND. I'm talking about the riffing between AJ and the lead clarinet. Watch carefully at the beginning of the video, and you'll see him smiling and laughing with other members of the band. AJ looks over at him -- she is not amused, as the performance is about to begin. He is outstanding clarinetist, and he and AJ work in complete sync, but IMO he's trying to up the ante during the entire performance, until AJ blows him away as she belts "He's lost" -- which makes the conductor shake his head in disbelief. Note that the lead clarinetist doesn't clap after the performance . . . .
