One of the many underrated ted talks. What I love the most is that she doesn't just tell her success story but in most of her speech you hear "you could do this" rather than "I did this". And she is sooo funny for someone who's clearly gone through so much. WE NEED MORE OF PEOPLE LIKE THIS ON EARTH. Just her presence makes me feel "courageous". Also we all hope that your son is always ok.

It's God who is amazing and strong enough to bring us through anything that comes our way. Man is helpless without God. Our strength comes from the true God whether we acknowledge Jesus or not.

I just wanted to THANK you for your Humor. I feel it is underrated in educational settings and hope you don't mind if I share with some of my classmates. I knew when you got to LV and said this is the best... Something was going to happen, it's almost like when we are feeling our best after long traumatic events, our guard is down and we display it in a physical way. Almost like we need a band-aid when we fall off our bike. I suffered from Post Concussion Syndrome, had to quit work, was told it was all in my head and I needed Prozac to calm down. This infuriated me. I went back to school to teach myself how to think, process information using concrete objectives and ended up with a Master's in Instructional Design, focusing on DEI/Accessibility. I will not tell you how old I am, but it's not 50 or 60! Somewhere in between. 😉I wasn't ready to say life was not dealing me a fair deck, I went out and got a new deck. Your TEDTalk resonated through me 100% (because of course this was just the tip of the iceberg.)

Jeremaih 17:5 This is what the LORD says: "Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the LORD. God is strong enough to get us through all trials we face in life. God doesn't ask us to rely on own strength.
