I have this title tattooed on my body; "Don't Believe Everything You Think." It was the catalyst for a shift in my thinking and therefore my direction in life. Understanding this simple phrase pushed me to fight those nagging negative thoughts that crowded my mind to the point that all other thoughts were fleeting and fragile. This moment can be good, this day can be good, you can make progress, you can find the answers, you can take that trip, you can move, you can change. Good luck, you got this!

Jesus is a human, he lives and dies. Mohammad is dead also. But Allah - the god of the prophets Jesus and Mohammad - is alive and will never die. Read the Quraan. They take their priests and their anchorites to be their lords in derogation of Allah, and (they take as their Lord) Christ the son of Mary; yet they were commanded to worship but One Allah. there is no god but He. Praise and glory to Him: (Far is He) from having the partners they associate (with Him). [31 At-Taubah] Muhammad is no more than an apostle: many Were the apostle that passed away before him. If he died or were slain, will ye then Turn back on your heels? If any did turn back on his heels, not the least harm will he do to Allah. but Allah (on the other hand) will swiftly reward those who (serve Him) with gratitude. [144 Al-Imran]

One person walks into a bar and believes the teachings of Buddha, another walks into a bar and believes Jesus is the only way to be saved, another walks into a bar and believes in Allah alone. Each of the 3 is convinced their view is the right view. The video they watch on TV in the bar is about breaking the chains of limited thinking and ideas, yet the old ropes still chain them into separateness when there's only one, not three, and the ropes are imagined.

If there's one person that could hold you back, it's yourself. Once you get this, you can start breaking the chains or ropes you have placed on yourself and live the life you want. There may be failures, criticism, etc. but as long as you believe in yourself, there's nothing you couldn't do. Just go do it. Break the habit of being passive to active, if you don't change, you'll just continue be living the life that you'll feel unhappy and bored with.

“‘ What makes us so amazing as children is that we live in a world before ropes. In a world before “what’s known”, when there is “what’s possible”. In a world before “I can’t”, when there is “how could I?”. In a world before falling and staying down, when we fall and get right up again-undeterred. In a world in which nothing is holding us back from our full capacity. I hope this is a seed for you, that gets you to question what you’ve previously accepted as true. That makes you more aware of your ropes, that helps you see they were always yours to break. No matter who you are or where you are in this moment, there is a life that you can be living if you break your ropes. You get there one new thought at a time. One new action at a time. Until one day, you find yourself in a new reality.” Lauren Weinstein How beautyful is that?

This is powerfully true, our childhood remains within us, and we are told to stop being that fearless person and do as society tells you is 'right', and lose who you are...this is great! I am an undergraduate in Psychology, and I am slowly becoming the fearless, fun, and the daring girl I once was--trying to remove all the trauma and bad thoughts that follow me daily throughout my life.

The elephant analogy really helped me see some of my underlying issues, at 19 here I am worrying about the same insecurities I had in middle school, that people will think I’m awkward and there is a huge focus on my lack of social skills. But I’m older now, I can be better at making by friends, forming deep connections and stop telling my self I can’t.

Timothy Ramsey The idea of lack iz absolute illusion. There iz no evidence whatsoever to support yet people still look at life through a filter of lack and limitation that develops an impoverished mindset. A lack of evidence iz not evidence for lack. Time iz also an illusion we socially agree upon and therefore created something of value that doesn’t actually exist. If you even think you have time you likely experience a lot more psychological suffering than you are even aware of and the stress, frustration, and limitations you experience that are thoughts that revolve around the illusion of time. You don’t have to watch any video, you choose to. So do you realize by looking at the play time on a video doesn’t make much sense, you can stop watching whenever you want and come back to it later or choose to never finish watching it. You’re not limited in any sense and the only limitations and lack you ever experience iz of your very own making. You are just as capable of choosing to experience the reality of infinite abundance.

I need to make big efforts to break this invisible rope. I was so bold when I was young, but then I became so timid because on the tv it shows a girl is more lovely when she is shy. I miss my bold self. This tomboy me. I was once a mentor of somebody, until she totally stole my whole business. Now I have chance to start a similar relationship with another person. I tell myself it will work well, we can find a way to do only good for each other.

Read the Gospels of Jesus..u will break that rope...imagine feeding 5 thousand people with 2 fish and 5 loaves ...or healing entire villages from all maladies/disease...or raising someone from the dead...wow....just imagine...JESUS promises that we could become conduits of these miracles..I believe.

Thank You. You reminded me of when I was a little boy and there were no strings. You reminded me of my first Kiss in grade 2 at school, under the stair case. A very happy little boy. Then I remember grade 3, the mean teacher and then all of the ropes. @ 61 years old, I have been working on cutting off those ropes and it is working. My Biggest rope was ALCOHOL, it is GONE. I am learning how to Love that little BOY again and it started with LOUISE HAY'S inspirational talks on KZread. I also learned from Mel Robbins, Bren'e Brown, Wayne Dyer, Moojiji and many more. Thank You again

Where I am in my life at the moment, is a crossroads, I felt like Lauren was talking directly to me from the start, no TED Talk has ever resonated or hit home as hard at this one. We are all searching for our passion and purpose, but we can't hold the ropes from the past any longer, they have been a noose for too long! Be strong everyone, take one day at a time, be kind to yourself and others and believe in YOURself always

That description of what happened to that little elephant brought tears to my eyes…this is my older’s sister story and to some extent, mine. Life’s uncertainties, difficulties and disappointments tied a lot of what we were when we were small..our family went through a LOT when we were growing up and we lacked resilience to deal with it ….

This book is really easy to read with very approachable language. But there is so so much more than that and it truly grabs your attention. Honestly, I wasn’t too compelled to try out the exercise at first but once I actually did try I was just amazed by the results. I guess it really depends on whether you put what you’ve read into action or not - and of course I DEFINITELY suggest you to. I did as the author told me to do and kept a journal for about a week and I saw real change. I’ve always identified myself as an introvert and this book allowed me to realize that I really don’t have to push myself to become more extroverted. I feel like I am dealing with my existing as well as new relationships much better. A MASSIVE THANK YOU to Anderson.
