I offered free pizzas and lodging to whoever came to my house. A week later, we had several homeless men staying at our place. It was starting to get expensive so instead of ordering pizzas I just gave them money to buy and cook their own food. My wife got real angry at me and told me to stop giving them free money. She argued that giving them free money would just encourage a lot more homeless men to come and would be more expensive in the long run. She argued we should switch back to giving them free pizzas even though it was more expensive because this will slow the people from coming in (as opposed to giving people free money). We feel hopeless about this situation because no matter what we do, more and more people will come and stay at our house and we will soon become bankrupt.

My mom was hit by a truck (a tree root went through her knee) and has been walking with no ACL or cartilage in her knee for over 30 years, she has filed for disability multiple times and has been denied every single time. She was told that she doesn’t qualify for disability because apparently she’s fit to continue working full time. I couldn’t tell you just how many times she’s told me that she wants to self delete to make the pain go away. The direction this country is going makes me sick, this administration is hell bent on destroying our country!

I offered free pizzas and lodging to whoever came to my house. A week later, we had several homeless men staying at our place. It was starting to get expensive so instead of ordering pizzas I just gave them money to buy and cook their own food. My wife got real angry at me and told me to stop giving them free money. She argued that giving them free money would just encourage a lot more homeless men to come and would be more expensive in the long run. She argued we should switch back to giving them free pizzas even though it was more expensive because this will slow the people from coming in (as opposed to giving people free money). We feel hopeless about this situation because no matter what we do, more and more people will come and stay at our house and we will soon become bankrupt.

As a born citizen of Chicago I always wait last minute to file income taxes. I’m single and don’t own any property and have no dependents. They already take so much out of my checks every 2 weeks and I always owe when filing my taxes both state and federal….yet illegal immigrants get everything for free. I struggle buying groceries and all other monthly expenses. Sad where my tax dollars are going. Enough is enough!

It’s a racket and a business. Every business & people that’s closely connected overcharges and gets a big cut. As the money moves around, each exchange skims a bit more off the top. By time the money reaches what it’s intended to do, a fraction of the money is left. So little that corners are cut and the quality the recipients receive is appalling.

Saddest part is NYC voters will vote the same politicians back into office this November.

As a former NYPD officer, I’ll tell you what they used to do with the benefits card in the Bronx. An example would be; The bodega would ring you up for $13 they would keep 3 and give you 10. That way if you wanna buy cigarettes a 40 oz. or something you can. Everybody wins, but the taxpayer.
