NYC is Creating Homeless People... On Purpose

NYC is so expensive, a new report shows that 78,000 have left the city in the past year, and that half of families rely on assistance programs to make it. This is very sad, but it seems like nothing is being done to address the middle class's needs. What do you think?

Ladies and gentlemen…if you’re riding the subway, get yourselves a can of hornet and wasp spray, the kind that sprays 20-30 ft. or so. Keep it in your large messenger bags. Keep the receipt in somewhere with your books or wallet so when the police question you about the spray you say you just forget you had the spray and receipt still with you. You remembered you still had the spray when you were being attacked and used it to defend yourself by spraying it into your attacker’s eyes so you could get away.

Along the same lines and regardless of which state you live in: If you are carrying a knife and the police ask you if you are carrying a weapon, it's important to say _"No, but I am carrying a knife that I use for utilitarian purposes."_ If they press you and ask if it's for self-defense, maintain that you only have it for utilitarian purposes and that it is not a weapon. The reason is that if you acknowledge that it is a weapon, or for self-defense purposes, they can get you for "concealed weapon" charges. This is also why the original comment about wasp spray was worded as it was.

They love that these ppl don’t vote - have no vested interest in the city itself - basically leaving government to run everything. Hospitals have been being closed for condos since 2006 even though they blamed people for over crowded hospitals during covid when they had already sold off 3 downtown w no replacement. They back you further into a corner - pull the floor out from under you and then blame you - or get you to blame your neighbor. Anyone but them.

We need to change everything!!"🙄The influx of these illegals is just another Democrat scheme where they hope to make them "citizens to become new Dem voters so Dems never lose another election!" all whilst using them for cheap labor as well as counting their heads in census yrs for the political/financial benefits.

I live in Superior Wisconsin. Place where people from California coming because of the climate change. They're actually advertising this place in across the bridge Duluth Minnesota that's a wonderful place to to come and live. The average price for a one-bedroom apartment is almost $2,000. There are no jobs but you see job signs everywhere. Who's the trick, you could work at McDonald's for $17 an hour but that's only if you're hired full-time which most people are not. The organic milk you showed, the price is the same here. Now we're getting a lot of drug dealers and a lot of drug addicts. Does human waste on the street and you can't walk downtown anymore. And if you're going to the store you better be in a car because you'll be accosted by somebody on the corner asking you for money. I live in lower income housing. It's actually safer here than it is to walk out on the street. It's a beautiful place to live but I wish people would stop coming here. They're driving up the rent and the cost to eat. Love your channel and I see New York City is not a place I want to visit anytime soon. And that's sad. Good luck Cash.

NYC is becoming a paradise for corporate and a dystopia for the working poor. The middle class are the new working poor now. Please look at how Jersey City is transforming itself to accommodate people leaving but still working in NY. They are not building affordable housing but luxury housing everywhere because their target market has always been the rich. It is displacing hardworking families everywhere within reach of NYC. I live in Roselle Park, NJ and rent is increasing exponentially because they are building luxury housing for prospective residents from NYC. It's like NYC is a small octopus with unnaturally large arms with an appetite that doesn't match its size.

The illegals for half less. Now you see the bigger picture? They don't want to up salaries only the housing & other costs of living. For the citizens who contribute to NYs function. With illegals, they can pay them much lower wages. In comparison to their country is a lot. Then, the politicians will ask for federal help. So they can appropriate or misappropiate the funds how they see fit.

@@ariarimeowmeow... agree! Give people the option to make minimum wage and still afford to eat and pay rent. With this minimum wage you don't have enough to eat let alone rent a room. In Pennsylvania the minimum wage is $7.25! If you work 8hrs a day and 5 days a week that is the total of $290. Then taxes are taken out. You lucky if you made $200 for the week. That is $800 a month! Who tf can live off of that a month while raising children? This has gotten out of hand and everybody should be in the streets protesting.

If that doesn't happen that means ppl are happy and content with the government they already have. So I can't take those who complain seriously, they look like fools.
