Because I personally believe a measure of these individuals stealing are “actors.” Not actors from a TV/Movie perspective, but that they’re hired. There have been 3 busted rings that orchestrated such smash-and-grab’s in over 20 states. And they were run by some of the most unlikely individuals, including a soccer mom and her husband in Suburban SoCal.

To protect the oppressed. They did that with print media and description of criminals where races were omitted. Right or wrong does not exists but the oppressed and the oppressors. The oppressed can do no wrong, thus, the blurred out videos and the oppressors can do no right. This type of reporting tells the oppressed that the media will protect them. Also, this is beyond shoplifting.

Just recently watched a great vlog on Appalachia from a fella named Peter Santenello. Always been fascinated by that particular region myself.

In other countries potential customers are scanned and approved before they can even ENTER the store. If one is not deemed credit worthy or a potential risk, they don't get in, period. No thieving street level riff-raff to worry about.

NYS is a complete shitshow! Good job libs.

I work at a Kohls near Baltimore (on the 95 corridor) and was hit by a rip and rob = 5 men arrived to steal $13,000 worth of Nike Merchandise in 5 minutes. When I asked the only supervisor in the store to call the police she said "NO! Go customer service them." So...... risk my safety so say "hello, can I help you steal that today???" F*** that - I pulled my phone out of my pocket and called the police myself.

This 'fencing' is happening in my area too. I live in a quiet suburb in Phoenix, AZ, when visiting our local Dunkin Donuts chain, i witnessed (yeah i took photos on the sly and turned them into the police) a boss seated at a table and one by one his hired theives ( folks down on their luck with substance abuse) laying out stacks of likely stolen cell phones and receiving reimbursement. There is a constant home breakin problem in the ' nice' neighborhoods around Phoenix and Scottsdale, probably where these stolen phones have been snagged from. This happened 5 years ago.

New York. When you elect special people to protect you against special people.

In some countries stealing results in the loss of fingers or even a hand. Now that is a deterrent.

perfectly reasonable , that's the fine for smoking in unauthorized places. shoplifting arguably is doing much more damage than one hurting their own lungs with potential for others to be affected momentarily . The shoplifting effect is permanent on the surrounding people .

Not to long ago in Allen, Tx. (North of Dallas) a group of thieves went into Dick's Sporting Goods and started to load up on the jackets and shirts, running out the door. Very quickly Allen Police sealed off the area and arrested everyone of them and the merchandise was returned. North Texas police don't fool around and neither does the Collin County DA. Hope it stays that way because we don't want any.

We used to discuss things and everybody had their own thoughts and it was interesting. Now days if people discuss things, there are these party lines, like subscribed to thought. Could we just start thinking for ourselves again? By exchanging real thoughts, we could come to solid solutions. Yea people, boo parties. The parties and there subscribe to thoughts will be the end of us, dang.

People of NYC need to demand real punishment for theft.
