It Begins… Entire NYC Mall Closes Over Theft

The fulton center mall is shutting down. The tenant blames crime, but the city is suing the tenant and claiming crime is under control. What do you think?
This video was filmed in the public train stations at the Fulton center and occulus World Trade Center. Both are publicly accessible transit stations with shops. The two links below give more information on these publicly accessible transit stations.

It's like the border, when you see armed military men standing their with guns yet the illegals tear down razor wire right in front of them and storm in. The illegals know that cameras are there and if the border patrol stops them, politics has the illegals backs. Remember when the border patrol on horses was accused of whipping illegals, but not one pic or video showed that actually occurred? The criminals and illegals know the laws and politics are on their sides, We The People lose.

I’m not a bible thumper but there are sayings about sparing the rod and spoiling the child and reaping what you sow. It’s not talking about being an abusive POS or a limp noodle. It’s walking that middle ground. Partially my generation’s fault. The way we were treated and decided we were going to love on our kids, try really hard not to use corporal punishment. Now our kids are so busy trying to be tic tok stars no one can actually Do anything and they are mentally abusing their kids for likes and views as family vloggers. It’s nuts. God help us all. Lol

People respected other people's property" My grandmother continued to say, "I would be able to have all the windows opened at night in the summer, go to sleep and not worry about being robbed or burglarized". "These days now, if its now welded down, someone will take it, and even then someone will find a way to take it, even if its welded" Both my elderly grandparents have seen a lot in life and experienced many changes humanity has gone through in the 90's. And they both said, things are far worse now.

My brother was in San Francisco a year or so ago. Stopped in a drug store to get something and noticed a security guard by the register. People were bringing items up to check out, but they never paid. Just walked right out the store. Apparently the Governor decreed that you can shoplift up to $999.99 and just get a misdemeanor. This is going on in a lot of the major cities. Businesses are closing down and are either moving or going out of business. The legal system is overwhelmed. Jails are filled to capacity. Not enough police. And the sheer stupidity of a city suing a store owner because they are closing down due to theft and lost profits/inventory.........I have no words to describe this shart show.

The Fulton Center is a transit hub FIRST and a shopping mall SECOND by design. The stores may close but they're not shutting down this crucial MTA connection point. Connecting 8 lines to 4 more lines plus PATH is massively important. One partial solution would be to have the PANYNJ purchase the Fulton Center from the MTA outright, with the MTA only being responsible for the stations themselves, as in the WTC mall. If the Port Authority owned the Fulton Center, it could fully integrate it into the WTC mall as a simple extension, with Westfield operating the entire expanded shopping center seamlessly and the Fulton portion being given the same high security as the Oculus portion.

In case anyone is wondering, yes, that is how a correctly-designed transit hub should look like. Lots of exits and lots of open space, because it's a transit hub that huge amounts of people flow through. During extreme peak time events like sporting matches you really don't want to reach 'crush capacity', I think you can guess what that does to people. The reason the two are different is almost certainly because they were designed for different capacities.
