He plays off the fact that he is a foreigner acting naive, it works quite well and his good but not great English with the Finnish accent seals the deal, i love it lol

He has the ability to see small details in everyday life and make material out of it, also finns have this habit of silently observing what happens around them so i guess ismo is using that skill for source material gathering :D

Yeah that something is a couple things : - his accent - his appearance - the cracking of his voice - the way he makes noises like he's about to start laughing when he takes a pause - his delivery timing - his facial expressions

I literally cried laughing. I was in Navy, so we had lots of astronomy and navigation classes in the academy, and there were a couple of both hillarious and genious guys, but none of us approached the topic like that. ISMO is almost unique if Gervais had never existed.

he studied physics so he exactly knows what is going on but still makes an amazing joke of it seeming he has no clue at all what's going on.

Ismo is the best. Perfect delivery and intelligent perspectives of seemingly mundane topics is a perfect combination. It's like a hug from funny!

He cracks me up putting simple words and talking about it in a way that you would never imagine. Its also the innocence of the way he talks about it.

This is like Seinfeld classic observation comedy elevated several levels through amazing delivery and more out of the box thinking

Love how his mind works.

The delivery of his speech is so simple and innocent yet very funny 😂

Don't worry you can fly back to US and you'll get the day back😁! You'll probably land same day, 6hours early like you travelled back in time😆!!
