While the joke was funny, the expiry date is for the bottle's usage. Not the contents of it. And once the bottle is 'bad' it will start to affect the water. It's more an indicator of water quality, than usage.

@@eldiablo1467 Everybody knows that, lol. Why do you have to say that? To sound smart? It is called humor to come up with funny jokes by explaining a basic thing in a different, funny meaning. You can combine different words in language to make them sound funny by changing their meaning or just use an expiration date to mean that water as people normally think the content (e.g. milk) is not ok anymore. It requires sense of humor to get that.

I live the way he "pretends" to be so out of his depth, floundering around in his second language, yet it so spot on in his observations. Truly HILARIOUS, but oh so clever humour!

Yes, great joke. Though obviously it's the leaching plastic container that is the problem. Especially if it gets transported in trucks exposed to a lot of heat. Amazing people think they are getting clean water just because it comes in a package.

"why kill the happy fellow?" ...hilarious. I promise you, it is even more funny when you live in the country just beside Finland. This is soooo spot on the Finnish mentality. I love it, I could actually see myself living there.

​@@ledrash6079 it's just a real thing that has been laughed at in finland for a long time and if someone actually does it, the responses are a lot like that. Say usually when a random drunk guy comes to insult you, with whatever topic, it's common to go with it for not to give any satisfaction to the person who said it by showing that they would have possibly gotten to you. Say someone would call you ugly and you would say: "Oh really thanks, I haven't noticed it in all of my years on earth, you must be really smart with that keen eye of yours". That type of thing.

And where there is no punchline per say, his delivery is so good it is still funny. For example, the "letters that you write down but never say" is almost a dictionary description, yet people laugh because of the delivery: 4:05

This is what happened to me in college 😅 I was the quiet one who often refused from parties till once I was "forcefully" carried in a party and we ended up having amazing time.

The best before date joke was low key a great piece of commentary about the dangers of plastics

I love Ismo´s silent numbers - this is a great invention! THANKS Ismo!

I am a Finnish-American guy age 82, and my last Finnish was from 1902. I used my 1902 Finnish, my penpal said my Finnish was quaint.
