If you have a wrestler from say Spain and he just speaks in Spanish to a crowd who 99% speak English, he isn't going to get a reaction which in turn isn't going to get him over is it?!

Kayfabe is Dead sir. They don’t hate Charlotte because she’s playing a good bad guy. They hate her because the fans are angry at the ‘booking’ of the match. The Stone Cold-Rock era during the 90's to early 2000's was the best time in WWE. That rivalry was organic. The Stone Cold- McMahon rivalry happened due to the Montreal incident back in 1997. The Montreal incident was the catalyst for the attitude era and also the birth of Vince McMahon as the evil commissioner and Stone Steve Austin being the perfect rival to break every rule that McMahon puts in place.

Actually The Rock was "the chosen one" too but he did get over on his own while being a heel. The Rocky Sucks! chants soon started to turn around and he had the audience repeating all of his catch phrases. Creative had huge plans for him as far as being the guy but he created that character. Charlotte is more like HHH was in this situation.

Man they could really just change this by having Becky Lynch challenge Charlotte Flair at the PPV before Wrestlemania. Have Becky tell Vince that she wants to challenge Flair and if she wins she takes her spot back and if she loses then she won’t have a match at Mania at all. Have Becky win, then just have Flair vs Asuka pt 2 at Mania. 2 guaranteed great matches

I personally wouldn’t have an issue with Vince wanting Roman Reigns and Charlotte Flair as top stars if he actually cared about pushing others at that level. If you look back, in the Hogan Era you had Hogan and Savage, the New Generation Era had Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels, the Attitude Era had Steve Austin, The Rock and Triple H and the Ruthless Aggression Era had John Cena, Batista and Randy Orton. Since 2010, Vince only cares about one top star in the men and women’s division.

I have to disagree with that. Yes, Roman has been at top on Raw but Rollins and Ambrose also has been there. AJ Style and Daniel Bryan are on top. And don't forget, Kevin Owens before injured was Universal Champion before losing to Goldberg and was in the main event of Smackdown for almost a year with Sami Zayn, Aj Styles, Shane and Bryan between US title and WWE title. The problem has been Lesnar. Not having a full time Universal Champion is like having handcuffe your hands.

You forget ultimate warrior, syco sid had a few tittle pushes... Mankind also was multiple title holder during Austin, rock and tripple h runs.. Also Jericho and Angel... For me this feels like if you were to throw in another wrestler during the Wrestlemania 17 main event. I like my big title matches to be one on one, and i feel like this is the 2nd time we are being deprived of ronda and becky being a one on one. Charlotte being along for the ride for everything becky does is unnecessary (how many triple threats have those 2 worked in the past year, seriously?), and quite frankly Ronda has had really good one on one matches with the Horsewomen. Hell she did good work with Nia Jax of all people. And they're gonna pretend that they care about the main event match quality now after these last 3 forced main events. Yeah, ok. Also what the hell is gonna happen with Asuka now? All i know is the fan reaction to ronda and becky's face to face a few weeks ago was nuts. Who the heck needs a 3rd wheel with a reaction like that?

Those Rock/Austin matches were special and very few and far in between compared to the rivalries of these days where the same people wrestle each other on Raw and Smackdown every week it seems.

Yes they care about the match quality and especially the fued .....the fans want 1on1 then it's a face vs face , but they are going to boo ronda out of the building......guys she's just a year in wwe she's not roman or john who can be the baby face even while being booed and they can control the crowd, Ronda is new so can't handle the nuclear heat as a face.......The fans brought it on themselves the.....look at the two raws after rumble guys the fued wud have most probably lost all the heat in the 8 weeks if that wud have been happening week in week out..... Charlotte is currently the 2nd best heel in the business after D bry ri8 now.....Also the women revolution is built around the quality of all the firsts being fantastic

I'm a Huge WWE, I've been a fan of Pro Wrestling in general for over 30 Years....I grew up right outside Philly so I used to go to ECW Shows, WCW Shows, TNA, ROH, & seen WWE Live probably 50 times....I love the old NWA, and I Love modern NJPW & Lucha Underground....and I still love WWE and am usually the one sticking up for them....However even I am starting to think that Vince may be trolling us or something....It really does feel like Vince Does NOT want anyone to get over....I really don't get what's going on lately....

Just want to say THANK YOU for this show really loved the brain storming and talking about WWE and what they do wrong and right sometimes to a degree.

What made WCW work wasn't simply offering WWE top stars to come over to join them, but that the fans didn't know about it until the night they showed up on Nitro...unannounced. That gave fans a reason to keep tuning in; who will show up next week. That could never be duplicated in the social network age we live in. Everything is leaked and the effect just isn't the same. Another huge problem with WWE is that years ago, they'd give you just enough to tune in the following week. Now, they give out way too much and no one cares anymore. I'd much rather watch a quality PPV that's just under 3 hours than over 5 hours of garbage. Quality over quantity.

I feel like they’re giving Becky the Daniel Bryan treatment with the triple threat at mania.. this is off topic but, I agree wwe is very predictable nowadays but am I the only one that think Daniel Bryan got the Shawn Michaels retirement treatment? Becky is legit hurt, and for the record these matches and storylines are planned WAY in advanced for WM. This is a move by Vince to take the heat off Ronda. For weeks Ronda was getting a lot of heat from the fans not because they don't like Ronda but because Becky is so over. This is against the script WWE wanted. They want Ronda to be beloved by fans until they decide is the right time. This swerve placed all the heat on Charlotte which she can handle because she shines as a heel and Vince has never really cared what the fans think or want. There will be another swerve to get Becky into maina.

If Becky vs Rhonda is going to be a Wrestlemania main event then AEW with Kenny Omega vs Jericho is going to easily win my viewership. And Vince better hope CM Punk doesn't come in to feud with Cody because that will be the bolt of lightening AEW needs.

Kristian, I've seen you pictured with Beckys real life boyfriend. The guy who called out Nia Jax for breaking her nose. I'm guessing you have to have some idea of how she feels about all of this behind the scenes. Or maybe she's not allowed to talk about any of it. The main problem I had with this stunt was how they got there. And they can still repair it by having Becky come back as a complete badass who doesn't trust anyone but I have no idea how you do that in this PG era. Becky vs. Corporate Charlotte is pretty much a given for Fastlane or maybe even Elimination Chamber. But will that turn the match into a singles again or convert it to a triple threat. One things for sure though, that move received so much actual heat and the video of it became the most down voted in WWEs history at over 50,000 dislikes. So they got the attention they wanted.

My biggest problem with it being a three way is that the whole story between Becky and ronda they have been setting up since survivor series in November will not have a payoff because Becky will now beat Charlotte instead of Ronda and that's bullshit!! What they should do is have Becky vs Charlotte at chamber winner faces ronda for the belt, Becky wins, then at fastlane have Charlotte attack askua after a title defense setting up the rematch at mania, and the main event at mania will be Becky vs Ronda one on one first ever woman's main event

I just wish people would stop being so hard on Charlotte. None of this is her doing. And everybody saw where the company wanted to go with this a year ago, when Charlotte defeated Asuka, and Ronda blew it out of the water in her tag match. Becky just caught fire. The fans were tired of seeing Becky get pushed down, and I think Becky finally found her schtick in all of this. But let's not kid ourselves. Does Becky deserve the main event spotlight with Ronda? Absolutely. Is Charlotte vs Ronda a better wrestling match? Absolutely. Charlotte gets a lot of shit because she's the daughter of Ric Flair, and she's seemingly pushed to the moon, riding his coat tails. But anybody with 2 eyes who isn't a mark can see that Charlotte is without question, head and shoulders above the rest of the women's roster. She's the Seth Rollins of her division. The things that she can do in a wrestling ring, no other female could or should attempt to pull off. She's basically built like a dude, if it weren't for the boob job and the heels. But she's got crazy athleticism that's unmatched by any other female, and she's quite frankly better than most of the dudes on the main roster. She just gets a bad rap because she comes out to a remix of her Dad's jam, and does the chops and the woos. There was actually a long period of time, throughout her latest face run, where she didn't throw any chops, and she didn't use any woos. And I think it's because she was trying to build her own name. But it's hard to deny she isn't the spitting image or her father, and he was a 16 time champion for a reason. She's definitely got every bit of his pedigree. Anyway, people need to get off Charlotte. She's not Roman Reigns. Everybody loved her until 3 months ago. Because she's the fuckin best and it's undeniable. Becky may be more over right now, and I'm very happy for her. But She can't do half the shit Charlotte can do, athletically. WWE just blew this thing so hard because fans are so tired of seeing Triple Threat matches. I mean there's one every single week on Raw, they happen twice a month on SmackDown, and there's 2 or 3 on every ppv. It's just so much harder for the wrestlers to tell a good story with a Triple Threat match, but so much easier for the writers. Whether it's Charlotte vs Ronda, or whether it's Becky vs Ronda, everybody just wants to see a singles match. Vince is totally out of touch, and Stephanie has no business being in charge of creative. It's the shits. NXT is amazing. But, can Trips really save the company if he's got the reigns? Seems like it's going to be 6-7 years before that happens anyway. Vince has shown no signs of slowing down, and he micro manages the shit out of everything. I think the tandem of Triple H and Shane could really save the booking, because Trips knows talent, and Shane listens to the fans. Let Stephanie run the business side of things. But will there by any fans left by the time Vince steps down? Take AEW out of the equation. WWE has been losing fans in droves for years. And they're one price hike on the network away from losing millions overnight. The only reason people stick around is because the network cost netflix prices, and the ppvs are basically free. Hopefully another mainstream product like AEW can make a dent and force Vince to go back to the Attitude era days of actually listening to the fans and giving them what they want. Right now he's in pre attitude mode of thinking he knows what the fans want, and he can control them to get where he wants to go. That shit doesn't work anymore.

WWE. Needs to be building Charlotte vs Becky after WM35. Dont they have a plan for 2019 or just winging it?

If you've known Vince as long as most of us hardcore fans, things change at the last minute. There was a time years ago where storylines were planned out six months in advance. It stopped shortly before the Ruthless Aggression Era. 'Winging it' is pretty much what's going on these days(to some extent of course).

i feel this mainevent is being shoved in our face too. who is better than AJ styles or Seth rollins on the roster? .....yeah lets get real. SHE is a heel and she screams what she is gonna do in the actually match. who is that ok and mainevent level.

It will be Lynch vs Rousey at WM. Vince is trolling. If he wanted Flair in the main event, they would have let her win the Royal rumble.

Why does everyone assume Becky will win at mania? I seriously think Charlotte is pinning Becky. That sounds exactly like what WWE would do. If that match doesn't go on last, Charlotte walks out champ.

Vince and stone cold fued was massive. It was very entertaining and generated funny skits and fights between Vince and Stone cold. Now it's time for Becky vs Vince. This is going to be awesome. These commentators are idiots.

I personally feel like the WWE product has been putting out garbage for many years now. Like Kristian said ... they had no balance with the sport aspect and the entertainment aspect. They went in a completely different direction by taking away the violence, gore, the excitement, etc. They went way too PG friendly. The announcers are garbage as they don't put energy/emotion into it ... not like Jim Ross and King. I hope AEW crushes and becomes a big name wrestling company so that it competes with the WWE. It will force the WWE to actually become creative and not lazy.

Just look at what WWE did to CM Punk in 2011 after MITB. Punk had once-in-lifetime momentum and could have ushered in a new era.

That was Triple H, not Vince. Just think how different things would be if Stephanie had never fallen for him. We all fall in love and a lot of that is fate so most of us are suffering that now, all because 2 people fell in love because as much as Triple H as a villain was good etc, as a wrestler, I don't think he was ever that good. His promos were god awful and still are, I dunno how many times my mind has wondered when he starts talking and as for his nose, no one could gag his nose as much as Mick Foley did.

One word: *YES*

The 90s to mid 2000s were the best for WEE. And i tune in now and then when nothing else is on...And I'm really disappointed and annoyed at how they have gone. It's more kid friendly which to some point I can understand. But having so many of your big names leave the company, predictable and bland writing for certain feuds and the fact it looks more fake than before... It's like that South park episode at this point.

superstar gets heat not because they are heel..they come at the wrong time when fans are gooting for the wrestler they want n all the sudden someone interferee ...just like batista in 2014...when fans expected punk or d bryan to be the star..n win the rumble..cant blame them..

They’re doing this to probably get Ronda over, which is going to end up doing a female Roman Reigns. It’ll probably end up a triple threat, and with this Ric Flair birthday celebration being hyped up, Lynch will probably crash it. Hopefully AEW takes this bs to heart and embrace the organic phenomenons when they occur.

Charlotte got boo not because she is a heel..she got boo because fans is sick of her not wanting to let go as a main event spot that others superstar should deserve...n yup her dad is ric flair .so what..her situation is as similar as orton, the rock n reign...

That's total BS yes you can be a total heel in 18/2019 and do make a wish stuff i.e. HHH, Steph, Braun, Sheamus, Kane/Taker, Orton or if Brock ever chose too. Look this isn't 1985, 86 or 87 Jack anymore! Seth was the top heel as wwe champ and face of the company until he got hurt so get out of here with that. The problem is they don't know how to book strong faces in NY any more post Cena...maybe Styles is the only exception but even that isn't smoothly done at times. The working heel champ that has great matches is the new face in wrestling i.e. DB, Cian in NXT, Ciampa, Aries in Impact, Nick in NWA & Lethal house of truth run.

My think is that need Charlotte in so Becky can pin her. One it keep Ronda non-pinned record and 2rd it take heat of Becky and Ronda.
