If you don’t have $700 you don’t have any fucking business owning a BMW. Facebook Marketplace is the graveyard for broke BMW’s that people bought but people can’t afford to fix. In the last month I’ve walked away from over a dozen cars that are mechanically totaled. People buy them because they’re cheap and then when the car takes a shit it goes back on FB Marketplace. Most of the broke cars on FB Marketplace a worth nothing. And yet I see them for sale for $3500 but bring a trailer because it won’t run. The car is worth 0.

There’s so many people who have no business affiliating themselves with a bmw, they think you could neglect these cars or starve them on oil changes, put cheap regular gas and buy castrol oil with Fram filter lol 😂 there’s no short cut with a Bavarian machine, just get a Kia Sorento

What oil should you use cause bmw says to use bmw oil or Castrol or Mobil 1 so I'm confused what you're saying cause that's literally what bmw reccommends

@@kelpking4484 use shell oil from bmw, or use shell ultra helix and for gasoline use only shell vpower, that combination will keep your engine clean.

Hi Nathan, I have a 2008 Lci e60 550i, I’m starting to see my valve stem seals go bad. A lot of white smoke on idle over 10 minutes. I would love to let you do them on the channel. And I actually trust your work. Let me know if you’ll be interested. Thank you.

Nice Video those bearings don’t have copper in them they are newer ones and the guy didn’t charge the oil at 3k that’s y there small scratches on the crank should be fine with newer bearings I change my at 140k and it was fine it’s depends on start up warm up the car helps wear on the rod bearings

I'm seeking professional opinions here; Cross-hatching on cylinders is deliberately created during the honing process so that oil can be trapped in the scratches and enhance piston and ring life. Agreed? Then if a crank or rod bearing has a scratch or two, but the majority of the wear surface remains true, couldn't the case be made that the scratch could hold oil like the cylinder hone marks and hold lubricating oil in the bearing, enhancing bearing life? I acknowledge that a full cross-hatch of the bearing surface would reduce the total surface area to the point that excessive lash would be created in short order, but a crank bearing is 40-50mm wide, so a scratch here and there should not diminish the net bearing surface to the point that lash is created. Please respond. Asking for a friend (hahahaha)
