see none of them have any news in detail. they subscribe to mark gurman and relay whatever gurman says and gurman is wrong like 70-80% of the time. neither have they(team genius bar) diversified and only stuck to apple products. they have no choice but to build enough hype to garner viewership. but you cannot play the long term game with this. u may get views in short term, but once people realise you are lying all the time, they stop taking you seriously like we stopped taking maxtech seriously.

Vision Pro coming with a leans cover for the outside glass and not the inside glass lens which is the most important part to protect. 3. Apple was so quick to implement the USB C port on their laptops but it took YEARS for them to bring it to IPhone......if they actually wanted to cut down on E-waste like the said they did they would have made the switch with the IPHONE X not the IPHONE 15...... 4. Re: TikTok - Jern is right - he didn't just state it as fact, he literally said "we just got our first look at" the new iOS. It's flat out deceptive. Clickbait sucks in general, but this crosses the line to flat out deceptive. Clickbait is the headline says something untrue, but the video corrects it. In this case, the video says basically the same thing as what he's calling "the hook." Did you look at the new OS? Did you see it? No. Live your life so you don't have to mince words and differentiate misleading vs lying - it's like starting a sentence with "I'm not racist, but..." yeah, maybe just don't say the rest of the sentence.

I’ve loved apple for several years, but I feel the support that they used to offer in. Their stores is not what it used to be. They are overstaffed and too busy and act like you’re just another one of their issues they have to deal with. I appreciate that their products last a long time. but I’m in no rush to go out and buy another anytime soon. They seem to be heavily focused on generating subscription, revenue, and raising their prices on them every year. I would rather spend my money, going to an amusement park or on a cruise versus buying the same recycled stuff every year.

I really hope that Apple has a warning screen for those people that use side loading. I hope that it says that if you sideload and it causes a security problem, your warranty is null and void…. on your own.

That would be illegal. You can currently side load right now, and people do it every day. Its combersome and you have to renew the license every 7 days, but it won't remove your warranty. Thatd be insane

This suit is really ironic and hypocritical considering if we looked at this in the perspective of governments and countries, Apple is really simply doing what our own government is already doing. This would be like the rest of the world saying, “America, you’re too secure. You don’t allow enough foreign individuals or entities to take over the White House or have more say in our policies. U2 are so far up apples a**. I think if it benefits messaging between Apple and android then it’s a win for everybody so who the f**** cares if it’s illegal or not. Now when it comes to side loading no one really cares about that because people really care about the security of Apple and I think side load makes it less secure so I think the governments overstepped there. But if it benefits Apple to android experience then I’d rather they just do it. Btw I’m an apple user and I’m sick of having to constantly have bad interactions with android users just because they prefer a certain phone. It’s kind of ridiculous. If anything the bullying that comes from this is a direct result of apples unwillingness to make the experience more secure for both android and apple users and now that china is forcing them to do it I commend china for doing so because it’s really gotten out of hand. All the other stuff I’m pretty sure I don’t care about.

i believe part of the DoJ complaint was that they only agreed to support a limited 2019 spec of RCS that could easily be broken soon anyway due to being out of date, and not continual support of updated RCS protocols

I've got a solution to tackle the entire issue: Let's put an end to poorly made Android apps! They're a major reason why I've grown to dislike Android; the excessive ads are just too much. Plus, most Android watches are just downright unattractive!

Even though this Justice Department complaint doesn’t mention iPod and , I would like to add that I don’t personally agree with a single point they are trying to make, I would like to point out how Apple locked people in to the iPod and Mac by keeping customers music purchases from being used on non Apple devices. And that this customer with iTunes purchases helped sell early iPhones. remember the DoJ arent lawmakers. they may or may not have overstepped here, but the EU changes came from a deliberative lawmaking body. For bad or good, the EU changes were legislation that passed a legislative body. Our Congress hasnt passed anything and probably wont, but theres a chance if the alternative app stores in Europe turn out to be awesome for consumers. Probably not though. We just have a DoJ trying to interpret the broadly written Sherman Act for arguable business practices Apple does that could be considered anticompetitive conduct. Our law is broadly written so it is quite political how the DoJ enforces it. The specific points you can debate, but a very huge change to the App store such as forcing alternative app stores, should come from a legislature.

Apple is reasonable and we should give them credit for doing well. Fortunately the game-streaming apps likely they reconsidered due to the fact it wouldnt be a huge competing business, it was already kinda allowed in just an app by app by app cumbersome form (xbox game streaming could exist on iphones beforehand, if each game was its own separate app, so the content would be there just much less conveniently packaged), and Apple had the least to lose by allowing game streaming compared to the other points, and likely the most arbitrary/meh argument for blocking it. The game streaming was already a nice win for consumers
