I have now owned my Ferrari 360 for over 5 years. In that time I have done over 25,000 miles and spent far too much money on maintenance.
In this video, I pop down to AV Engineering to understand exactly how much I have spent maintaining the car and discuss where I go from here.
I also take the car to NVN Motorworks to assess the PPF damage I caused during the year.

My theory is the 360 has already gone. Sam received an offer he couldn't refuse especially with the GT3 on the way.

That would be cool. That white one is awesome.
Props for doing what 99% of owners wouldn’t do. Not only driving the car as it should be driven but bringing it back to showroom condition every service. That’s intense. For what it’s worth, I think you’ll regret selling that thing. Terrific content as usual.
That white 360 CS looks amazing! I think the SVR swap makes perfect sense as well as the CS hunt. Cheers Sam!
I think it’s very much that, you’ve used it amazingly well you’ve also done a lot of what you said you’d do. All the plans you made you’ve done. We as humans need milestones and plans and maybe now that you’ve done all of that you feel like you don’t have much of a use for it now? Either way it’s your decision, I hope you don’t sell it but regardless we’ve really enjoyed the videos and memories you’ve made with it.
Sam, through you, the 360 is like our own now. Anything happens to it and we're all worried. Was so glad to see it doing well, and wow! PPF for the win! Giving you and the 360 a thumbs up and waiting for great content once again as we move into the new year

Sam, my thoughts for what its worth - You are getting your GT3 very soon and there will be content with that as as you have said you have a very busy start to the new Year, so I think once you are driving other cars for a while this will renew your engagement and passion for your 360. But the biggest thing is this past year you have done so much with it and created so many amazing and unique memories like the Mille Melia and the photos above the clouds in the Canaries. I am sure of one thing... if you sell it you will regret it. Keep up the continuously "bar-setting" channel its is one of the very very best out there these days for honest, original and superbly produced content. all the best for Christmas and 2023, Ben
This is still one of the cleanest F360 examples that I’ve seen. I love this spec. Such a great car. Sam has clearly looked after her. Great content as always. 🤙🏽

This thing has deffo already been sold, if not this video is essentially the ‘walk around’ this is an amazing example of a car so well worth buying. Times clearly up for the 360 - Tony will be pleased!
5 years, time for a change I think and like you said how about combining 2 cars in one. I guess the value is doing ok for the age of it.
Thank you for a brilliant year of videos 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
A set of CS alloys and that 360 is about perfect. Sensible miles, fantastic condition and a car to use and enjoy!
Wonderful overview of true ownership, thanks for the honesty Sam.
I personally know exactly what you feel. I cherished a car I bought myself for 10 years, I spent so much on making it my own and thought I'd have it forever. Then in the last year, I noticed it wasn't giving me the same feeling... It went from making me feel like it to just being a metal box that was fun. I ended up selling it. I've sometimes regretted it. But always kept the new ower details just in case
Love listening to Alders talk about looking after Sam’s Ferrari, it is great to see someone passionate about providing great service. Also I bet Sam’s found a CS and is going to surprise us in the new year
Excited for what's in store.
Happy for a CS upgrade until the shot at 10:43. Insane insane looking car. Best Modena out there. Although would be great to see a moon mileage CS! Cheers!
Big cheers to the paint protection !
Every time I watch a 360 update video all I can think of is Tony laughing
Like you Sam old chap I find the F Pace monster rather appealing. Unloved or not considered by many but it has a great deal going for it. A better choice of wheels and interior colours would be nice but worth considering.
love your videos, the 360 is by far my favourite ferrari. Has been an absolute dream for years.
Love the F pace SVR!! Also hardly ever see them about compared to other spicy SUV’s👌🏽👍🏽
I believe thats the white 360CS that was originally delivered to a customer in Puerto Rico! It's been years since I've seen that car, crazy to see it now in the UK!
Really liked my facelift SVR and a bit of a bargain vs other choices imo. In the end I found it too wide for me down the lanes I drive plus the local driving mpg is pretty bad but on long runs was good so I let it go - never got used to either aspect. Still miss it and never missed a beat. Keep the 360 just shelve it for bit and the enthusiasm will return. I predict it will out stay the gt3.
Fair play Sam, you loved it, you bought it and you used it to create some incredible and irreplaceable memories. Thanks for bringing us all along for the journey. 👍
Big thumbs up on that white CS. What a spec!
That’s a brilliant ad for PPF, something I’ve not done before, but would certainly consider in the future.
22:44 a perfect ad for PPF and why it's important. Dang, if it wasn't so expensive, I'd get my whole daily driver wrapped in it.
I really don't think you should sell it, even though it might be tempting for a CS. On the other hand, 992 GT3, 360 CS and F Pace SVR would be an amazing 3 car garage.

You talk about the CS so much that it’s clearly something you need. You’ve loved that car and used it to the max but that empty feeling is the realisation it’s not the pinnacle for you anymore. Easy to say, harder to admit and almost impossible to action. I don’t envy you!
Phew, I thought it was going the way of the 911T! Lots of adventures and then goodbye. BTW, love that SVR
Hi Sam, it would be very interesting to see a back-to-back between your fully sorted manual 360 and the Emira...
I sold my 2015 f-type r coupe I ordered new in my dream spec with ccb’s etc to order a 2022 f-pace svr in svo brg as I had a child - and tbh I don’t regret it at all. Only reason I kept the f-type so long is the engine. Now I get to enjoy that same engine but with added comfort and practicality of a sporty suv, and with an infotainment package vastly superior to even the patchwork system in current f-type….and now awaiting an allocation for a 992 gts manual pts coupe to enjoy with the little bloke
Not bad Sam, repairs and depreciation on my Ferrari F355 was £2,50 per mile and I used it or it would have been a LOT more. 2-3k miles a year for this would suit you and its worth keeping. its great content, keep it coming.

@J Scott or a 600 mile drive to Rotterdam (that we did) cost £1,500+ petrol at 18mpg and the Targa top leaked in the rain all the way :-( looked cool though :-)
I love this car and I love the content. Having said that I would not be sad if Sam changed it for something else. The new content would be amazing for the channel too!
You manage paperwork with a "binder" and a "hole punch". Information become immediately available on opening the "binder" and all without £££ of technology or need for electricity, batteries etc and can be stored on a "shelf" or kept in the boot of the car. BInders can operate perfectly well at temperatures a low as -100 to 100 degrees centigrade. They can also be updated in real time with a "pen".
Looking forwards to seeing the Scud
Sam I did offer near one of these (past model) for your drive of the World (through NZ). It's a nice daily. 👌
Sam never sell the 360 cause through you it stays in our hearts now and seeing it leave would be definitely a very very sad day and an end of a iconic journey of you and the car so pleaseee don't sell itt💔
Heres a thought... What about keeping yours, Upgrading the suspension to the latest and greatest that KW has to offer, Upgrade all the bushings, Put some AP Racing road brakes on it and retrim the interior to exactly what you want and just enjoy the car forever and a day. You use it on the road, are you really going to get more out of a Challenge Stradale other than the ability to say, "I own a challenge stradale!" than you are making your 360 exactly how you want? Also... Could always supercharge it.....!!!!
PPF is great stuff. I have my Mustang completely covered and got a hit on the passenger and driver doors this week. Neither door has lost any paint, even thought the PPF has been ripped. To see it work so well on your own car, is a revelation and I reacted the same way you did, Sam.

Time for A V12 maybe? Budget depending 550? 575? 599? F12? Although maintenance costs likely to be more depreciation may be modest if kept nicely and feel like they’d be a very different experience to the 360 whilst still scratching your Ferrari itch. Merry Christmas to you whatever the future of S1 MDF!
That jaguar is really good looking 👍 and my bet is the 360 cs is coming in 2023.

Jag f-phase are Awesome one suv I love and I want . Iv even though hard on a E-phase me guy work actually talking about because he has one of their 4 door xf
On top of the £20k of servicing and maintenance and about £15k of depreciation mentioned, what about the full respray and a few grand spent on the interior and sticky buttons - strikes me as about £20+15+10+5=£45k to cover those Ferrari miles.

4 cars to 2 cars "garage" plus testing différent cars is a brilliant Idea. 👍 (F type, x3 and Modena out, GT3 and F Pace svr in)
Your 360 still looks… amazing.
The man maths to get to £1.40p per mile is 👍
Had expel PPF, left my are in a multi story (first mistake) and a young lady had swung there car into the space next to mine and her bumper ran down my left front quarter and door panel! Lifting all the PPF and black marks... she left a note to say sorry. I genuinely thought the side of the care needed a respray. Anyway, removed the PPF and there wasn't a single blemish. Mind the PPF cost £550 to replace but it saved the paint!

Well done. You win some and lose some. A big mechanical but a small cosmetic bill helps a little
Once you see how good the GT3 is on European road trips, I can’t see you paying to keep the 360 sitting in a garage. £1.40 a mile, plus finance costs, fuel, tyres, & storage costs on top.
You are lucky to drive excellence and to own one of them. Ferrari must be in your garage! This or another but one of them have to be there
Surprised when he spoke of 60p per mile depreciation. Ouch! I thought 360 values were going up, even with your mileage.

Same here, I was in the comments to see if I’d heard that correctly - it equates to about £15k if I’m working it out correctly and I seem to remember the car was about £80k
What are you gaining by having a challenge stradale over your 360? Are you going to be happier? Will it really make a difference day to day? Maybe live with a stradale first? Then decide if it’s really worth it? What you’ve done to this 360 has to be worth keeping. You know this car now. Think it’s a keeper? I’m 5 years along with my Arnage. Done similar maintenance. Will a twin turbo T be much better?

Mate spotted a glorious 360 for sale and it's so tempting to swap the AM in & live the italian dream but it wouldn't be as dailyable and would stick out like a sore thumb. Also only got space for one car. Ah so so tempting though. I think you'll miss the 360 if you sell it. Nothing will have the same character, certainly nothing modern. The AM in 4 years has probably cost around 15k tbh with different bits of maintenance and annual servicing etc.
do basic stuff change oil every 10k cost - oil and filter thats all ! and if engine gos kaput after somes years , (which it may not)get a second hand replacement i think this may work out much cheaper
I don’t think there’s any point in selling the 360 unless you have the funds to comfortably buy a Stradale or a Scuderia, something along those lines. If not, just keep it.

I think you’ve spent time in the standard facelift F-Pace SVR - is the 1988 unique enough to try to swap into one from a standard SVR with an SVO palette special paint colour already? My dealership said they could likely source a 1988 in Canada for me…
