Another marvelous cruise. Thanks so much for bringing us (and whatever ghosts) along. Just watched Sailing Skismo's latest, and was heartened to hear his comment upon his culinary attempt: "In the words of Paul, from Sailing Kate Louise, 'It's really very nice.' "

I don't know how I missed this one but I am glad that I found it! I got the bonus of two Sailing Kate Louise videos in one day and they were both as enjoyable and therapeutic as ever! Thanks for taking us along and the way I understand it that bacon and egg roll is pure vegetable, wink, wink. Good to see this part of the world through someone else's eyes! I wish I had seen you blokes out on the water, but I only happened past when you were packing up in the car park. Had a brief chat to John about his Explorer, and he pointed me to your YT channel. I watched this video closely for a glimpse of my Finn 8 on its mooring in the passage, but it must have ended up on your out-takes. Watching your videos is a good substitute for being on the water. (Can't be out there every day.) You should ask your companions for footage of Kate Louise underway to show off how pretty she is. PS Nice attempt at boarding the Wangi Queen! Almost worthy of Captain Jack Sparrow.

Morning Paul, thanks for another interesting video,it makes a great start to Sunday morning here in the UK. Lemon tree passage looks like another great place to sail. And it just goes to show the flexibility of the small boats in the fleet you sail with. So it looks like fair weather for the time of the year, good sailing good small boats and great people. What more can you ask for? Hope you managed to get the outboard sorted out, they often let us down when we need them most. Best wishes Geoff

Thankyou Paul. I do enjoy your videos. This one has conviced me to return to the passage to resume our cruse that was interupted due to covid. It is strange tha you also had problems with your motor, We also had trouble with ours. Turned out to be fuel blockage in the carbuetter. Cheers Rodger.

Great video. I just got an 14 ft. Odey Javelin this summer and I am learning how to sail it. It has been most enjoyable. Watching these videos gives me great insight into sailing and techniques and different ways to rig the dingy. All I have left to figure out is the outboard motor. As of now we are rowing and that doesn't work out very well in any kind of wind. Best wishes and fair winds. I look forward to the next raid..!!

Hey Paul .. enjoyed Lemon 🍋 Tree 🌳 Passage .. Ghosts, Gremlins n a great 👍 video. Been following our local Salish 100 (miles) joint in canoes, open n closed dinghy’s n sailboat ⛵️ under 21 ‘. The tiny fleet of vessels travels from our State Capital Olympia 100 miles generally northward with nightly stops about every 12 to max of 16 miles per day n ends in 9 days at Pt Townsend on the famous Straits of Juan de Fuca. I’m hopeful wishing to have My Michelle ready for the 2024 July summer event if health is okay n I can get someone to care give that week plus. If not I’ll still follow the group via internet in drydock. Cheer Mate, Nick.

Paul. I know how much time and effort you put into these wonderful vids. Thank you. Hi Gary, my electric Torqueedo is 10 years old and doesn't have a read out, so I don't know how much power I have left in the batteries. A simple solution would be to get a Shunt and wire that in. But I'm planning on getting solar and hope the solar controller would do the same. At the moment grabbing a tow is the quick and easy option, cheers Paul

You were very generous/diplomatic saying it was a bit cool, it was bloody freezing at times (and that`s from an ex Victorian). Good sailing and company though, just a pity there are not many places in Port Stephens to get ashore as a group to socialise around a campfire.

Hi, sometimes if I can't back the trailer up against a post or fence, I put the wheel lock on especially if I'm going for a couple of nights. But you would have to be pretty low to steal a trailer knowing the pain it would cause. I have heard of people coming back to find the rollers have been removed, which is just as bad, cheers Paul

Well there was a great white at lake Macquarie where I sail but I've never seen it , others have( small great white that is). On the Hawkesbury there are Bull sharks which can be nasty but again I've never seen one and the water is murky. Best not think too much about sharks or I won't go sailing.....😂
