    Just wish I was close enough to sail along with the group “Down Under”. That would be a really cool experience .. Love 💕 the different rock structures n unique beautiful trees 🌲 n climate. Puget Sound has the tidal issues. Most of our wind n wx are from the the South or SW up thru the Sound. Enough said. I need to finish this video now. Cheers 🥂 papa J.

    Hi Roy yep Rob's fishing boat was absolutely immaculate, the bright work was stunning. Built in 1880 as a fishing boat, with a 3 cyl diesel but space for a centre board though Rob doesn't have one. So sailing into the wind she doesn't point that well....but what a beauty.     I like how the KZread algorithm works as it has sent me this wonderful video to watch. Thank for your time and effort. It looked like a wonderful day out. And the memories came flooding in of days away in Warra Maid a Sunmaid 20 that was based in Moreton Bay in the 70’s.

Took a while to convince my vife the nessesity of That (Navigare nesesse est). Just had a beautifull trip to a nearby smaller inhabiled island this week. Regards from hot summer Denmark

    Hi Yes here is a quick look at the Stornaway 18...it's a bit old and I should really do another.     Hi Paul, what a wonderful time away sailing with all those wonderful yachts. I do have a question, how was it sailing with only the mizzen sail when you were running with the wind, to me it’s doesn’t seem right.

    Hi Mark to be honest it was virtually impossible to steer with just the mizzen in such strong winds with no centre board. I can do it when sailing downwind to a mooring in 2-3 knot breezes but yes you are right you do need some headsail. Thanks for watching , cheers Paul

    Well Dave's idea, use small cable ties, cut off excess and cover with tape, so the sharp plastic edges don't do any damage. They can still slide up and down a bit. cheers Paul

    Gooday Paul, I see a few guys are using an Anchor Buddy. Do you know what length they are? I have found there are 2 sizes available.

    Hi Gregory sorry for the late reply I've been sailing for 5 days...out of range. My anchor buddy is the smaller one stretches 12 ft to 50 ft and cost $95 (on ebay), half of that was postage from the states, cheers Paul
