We very much enjoyed this video. It is a bit further away but have you been to Mallacotta. We have cruised this lake system in an 18' -trailer sailer. It would suit your boats also. You can camp at the foreshore caravqn park and day sail, or overnight in plenty of small coves. Enjoy your sailing.

Hi Linda, I went to Mallacoota many years ago when I first arrived in Australia and fell in love with mud brick houses and the area. I would love to come down and sail there for a few days, maybe when things get back to normal. I hope the bushfires didn't impact on you too much. Thanks for watching, Cheers Paul

The have nots are on this side of the screen after all the size of your boat is inversely proportional to the amount of fun. I think the Raiders have got the right idea, small but big enough. Thanks for posting.

Our sailing trip... Begins your day with flaky, golden croissants or warm baguettes, Spread on creamy butter and luxurious jams, A steaming cup of rich coffee completes this delightful tableau, Delicate appetizers like a frisée salad with walnuts and goat cheese awaken your taste buds. The main course, a symphony of flavor, might showcase succulent roasted duckling in a cherry sauce, accompanied by perfectly roasted seasonal vegetables. And for the grand finale? Perhaps a decadent chocolate mousse, its richness a perfect counterpoint to the meal's savory notes. As evening descends, imagine a lighter, yet flavorful feast. Seared scallops with a touch of lemon butter might be followed by an herb-roasted chicken with ratatouille, a vibrant medley of summer vegetables, savor a selection of artisanal cheeses, their unique flavors a delightful discovery. And no meal is complete without a perfect dessert - a delicate fruit tart or a decadent pot de crème might be the perfect ending to your culinary journey. Yep, we measured it and my electric outboard struggled, luckily it wasn't more than a couple of hundred metres to the end of the island and out of the wind, thanks for watching, Cheers Paul

Must be great to sail with friends. I always sail solo 😢 Sailing in a group must add a little to the experience, having some thing in common. What does the red/yellow flag represent? In Denmark it is the independance flag of the island Bornholm (wich is not independent) 🙂 Best regards from Denmark

You're getting a nice little flotilla together down there Paul. A really good selection of boats too. The squall looked a bit dodgy. Even with the sails down, does having the keel lifted make much difference to the stability of the boat?

Hi Dale, my Stornaway doesn't have a drop down keel just a 40cm skeg keel that's why I can't run her up on the beach. But she is very stable, but the electric outboard really struggled in that squall and could barely make any headway. Thanks for watching again, Cheers Paul

Good work. As a keel boat sailor who’s been around world, I still enjoy the small boats. Condensed adventures and more fun in shorter time. Subscribed

@@SailingKateLouise it’s Super. Big boats don’t cost too much if you are away travelling and not wasting coin at marinas. I never felt the need to monetise my travels on KZread. I made a few videos for family which never went on KZread. Now I have small children and we are COVID stuck. We used to travel a lot. I’ve been to 75+ countries, my wife joined me to about 40 odd. First son born in Asia, second in Australia. But I still love the small boats and the little adventures. More so now that I’ve cracked 40 years old. I have built a few small timber boats over the years. Plan is to build another soon. Happy days and keep up the good work

@@superwag634 Thanks super! glad to hear you have an enviable lifestyle. Also glad you didn't monetise neither do I. I can't stand bloggers whose sole aim is to get money to fund their lifestyles and they are blatant about it. Cheers Paul
