Boston didn’t pass the eye test. Curry and the Warriors looked the part and had all the swagger walking into the finals. They have been there and looked ready for it all, Boston isn’t ready there are levels to this and Boston is still a few years away from making waves.

Two of Steph’s accomplishments are tied to KD. His 2015 ring is questionable, especially after him losing in 2016 and wanting KD to join the team. 2019 no KD, team not deep=L 2021 No Klay and KD, Steph couldn’t win a play in game vs the Grizzlies. 2022 = Undeniable. Great accomplishment for Steph. He needs more. People act like KD left and The Warriors were left with nothing. And they won a ring in spite of that. He eventually got flipped for Wiggins, who is an Allstar caliber player in his own right.

Celtics are good when they're winning, but they don't have a star to dig them out of a deficit against a team like GS. Steph is a great player(best shooter), but he benefits from the league and their score first mentality. You can't hand check. Warriors changed the game and now everyone shoots 3s (including bigs). That's the main difference. My opinion of truly great players is that they are the wheel, as opposed to being system players. It seems that KD just isn't that guy, but I could be wrong.

Like that can’t be used to split hairs.. for instance, Kobe and Steph are ranked around the same area on my all time list. If we just look at 1st team selections, Kobe blows Steph out the water... but Kobe played in an era with really no great SGs.. Dwade, Reggie Miller, Ginobli, maybe AI depending on whether he was playing SG or PG in certain seasons.. I mean those guys aren’t real competition. the greats were SF in that era.. TMac, Vince, Paul Pierce. BUT I’ll take Steph all day over Kobe based off his finals performances, FG%, and ability to make his teammates better.
