People forget this context. Sure there are great top 10 players now but rarely do you have wing players like Tracy McGrady make the game looks so damn silky and so easy. But they also weren't gonna do shit in the 2nd round without some stacked talent. None of the squads prime TMAC had been (injuries be damned) had talent to help take advantage of his skills and push the team to the next level. Even if he shoots an inefficient 3, who else is stopping him 1v1 with the exception of certain match ups at mid range or at the basket? If anything what old teams didn't do TMAC justice was surrounding him with some competent talent such as 3 and D shooters, additional ball handlers or another reliable scorer. So TMAC had to put up a scoring volume with no real help just to get the kind of results for his team to try hang in late games.

@@12savage68 Naw bro New York is gonna stunt his growth lmao I’m with you on that Zion and Ja is gettin better already and they are all in the same boat they all play with young guys .
Gil has tons of knowledge of the game. He always gives props to other legends. & He keeps it a buck💯. I fuck wit dude
Yeah, it’s fun watching the likes of Curry, Ja Morant, LeBron, Luka etc. but being blessed to have seen prime T Mac, Kobe, Timmy, AI and other great players in that early 00’s era..

To all the 2k homies, just know ALL TIME MAGIC is GOD TIER, lmfao finally more inspiring words about tmac. I agree with all the underrated comments
Mac had some of the best signature shoes as well.
DOPE to see when guys pay homage to their old opponents
TMac is one of my favorite players of all time. Gil says that he was an amazing shooter. Tmac could've stuck around and be a knock down spot up shooter. But maybe his ego won't let him be that kind of player.
Tmac was like kd/mj lengthy but he had bounce the middy game he could do it all
A Healthy T-Mac was right behind the Legendary Kobe Bryant!!

U mean right beside him.. they were equal
Orlando TMac was insane
Mid range era 🤤
It's one of the biggest what ifs ...like what if Grant Hill wasn't injured while Tmac was in Orlando or Yao when in Houston...I think Tmac was overused in Orlando that's why his career was haunted by injuries....I'm such a huge fan of Tmac....I had his white n blue Tmac 1 shoes n use to ball on ppl in High school 😂
Write a book already Gil. Your a basketball genius
I just bought a Tracy McGrady Rookie card on Ebay PSA 10 baby!
They’re talking about my idol :D
Tmac was my favorite player growing up
💪💪💪💪
If T-Mac didn’t get hurt he would be in the convo with Kobe Bron and Jordan. I wish he played in this era where coaches and management actually care about a players health.
