Keep in mind he did this when the total score of the game was 76-68. Not 147-145 or some scores we see today. His entire rest of team had scored 48 points in 48 minutes in that game.

@J S I don’t know why players just figured out they can be taking more threes but it’s not a fault to the game. If you can score more points with less field goals you should be doing that. All T-mac’s buckets in this video were 3’s so I don’t really see your point

@@eaglewinnings8003 -- It still works. Jeff Van Gundy led the G-Leaguers to qualify for the last FIFA cup the U.S. participated in. Jeff also coached those G-Leaguers to a win versus the U.S. FIFA team in a scrimmage while they were prepping for the tournament. I wish the Sixers would talk to Van Gundy (Jeff).

he's the funniest, mark jackson got the one-liners, and hubie brown one of the last of the old guard, the WISEST basketball minds on tv. Hubie talks like he was there when naismith wrote the rules giving him pointers. ESPN has gems for commentary, TNT just got postgame and everything else on lock.

Probably my fav nba moments of all times, I still remember the crowd leaving the game, when T-mac went off, it was just incredible to watch and it's like... there was this energy to it, that, everybody felt like he couldnt miss that last three for the win... never seen anything like it

TMac had good teams with him both in orlando and houston. Problem was the teams built around him was always unhealthy, then when the team around him started to gel his body gave out on him.

Both Van Gundys are great basketball minds and extremely playful when it comes to the funny stuff. JVG is fantastic on broadcast and if you’ve heard Stan on the Le Batard show he’s fantastic.
T-Mac delivered an epic moment in NBA history! I'll never forget that.

Tracy was such a good passer I used to love when they ran the offense through him at the elbow.
T-Mac will always be my favorite much respect and love to one of the best

5:29 best moment. T-mac called it. Coaches have to be a certain way to keep the players motivated but when nobody's around they can kinda let it loose. Now years later the coach and player can connect on that level, which is cool.
