I would propose bringing Nico Gonzalez back to for the pivot position. Not sure if he should’ve been sold in the first place without being given a proper chance, but he’s proving himself at Porto and so triggering his buyback clause should be heavily considered. And we wouldn’t need to necessarily sell Frenkie to get it done.

The most frustrating thing about FDJ, is that he never improved. This’s his 6th season with the team, and yet he’s still the same player we got from Ajax. He didn’t improve offensively nor defensively. I’m fed up.

Unpopular Opinion: Pedri is the most overrated player in the game. But not something any Barca fan dare to admit.

I’m just not prepared to part with Frenkie just yet, especially when Kounde, Raphinha, Eric Garcia and Ferran can fetch big fees each. Obviously his contract is a stumbling block, but his deal expires in 2026 so Barca have atleast another year to reach some sort of renewal on lower wages, if not then a sale has to be made by 2025 cause there’s no way you can lose an 86m Euro asset for nothing. However as it stands I don’t feel comfortable moving on a player who for the last 1.5 years has been a top 5 cm in world football especially when, on a basis of talent, the only player better than him in the current squad is Pedri and yet he can’t stay consistently fit, Hopefully that changes in the future but in the here and now we just don’t know.

With his 700k a week wage would you want your team, if you have one, pay wage on top of the money shelled out to buy him? Would he take a pay cut to join another team? Zuppose team bys him for 60m, and pays him the ridiculous and undeserving 700k a wk (3,7m), that adds up to almost a 100m ihe first year.

I know we have club prestige but that’s about it. Is the Barca job truly appealing with our current roster and board? Serious question.

If u watch frenkie closely on defense he gets completely lost and lets people run unmarked he lacks cdm instincts

The club running this agenda attacking players through the Catalan media is exhausting. You would think after Xavi has spoken on how mentally draining to endure the constant barrage they would have a change of heart, but no. I hope you get the nuance here. I really like Frenkie and everything he said about the lies are true. But there are no lies here - with Barça’s wage limit having gone down again, they can’t build a squad and pay de Jong 37.5m. It’s impossible. I love de Jong and I wish he made 15m instead.

This is what I’ve seen too and it’s hard to know who to believe. The 37m does seem to include the deferred payments from the past, so his base salary isn’t near 40m but the total wages do seem to count against Barça’s FFP. Which does make sense if La Liga is reported Barça at 214m with a limit of 204m. So again, it’s not his fault but he’s getting criticized because of other revenue not coming in and La Liga’s suspect accounting. I should have added that nuance to the show but I missed that note I had

Barcelona fans need a serious "come to hey-zeuss" moment. They need to sober up. Mbappe is going to VARdrid. VARdrid has replaced Kroos and Modric with Bellingham and now Diaz. 2 midfielders who score and create. They have a world class winger in Vinicius and Rodrygo is a very dependable forward. Barcelona has Frenkie who has peaked. He's not getting any better, he is not consistently good. He does not bring goals or any DeBruyne level assists. He doesn't bring any Casemiro, Declan Rice or Rodri level control at the back. He's just OK And we have to be OK with letting him go. But our issues don't stop there. We have another overrated midfielder who does not bring goals or assists and rarely stays healthy. Pedri. He's no Musiala. He's no Odegaard or Foden, or Silva or Fernandes or Bellingham. He doesn't even have Riqui Puig's ability to deliver deep through balls. Frank Bayer with L'esportiu of Catalunya has broached the subject: he must be sold. Lest we are left with another Fati or Dembele situation. Players we cannot sell at their peak. Players who are damaged goods. We need to be unsentimental and honest. He may be 20 or 21 but he's we do not have the luxury of keeping on a player who has missed 1/3 of his time. Khaleifi will have hundreds of millions of Euros in his pocket come June and be looking to spend. We will need the funds to keep Yamal and other young talent coming up and to compete for the talent of MF's we need and deserve: Rodri level, Bellingham level, Musiala level, Odegaard level

The Socios and their archaic way of thinking is Barca's biggest hindrance.They would rather own 100% of a dying club,than face reality,the football world has changed tiki taka and member ownership is the past.All we have to do is sell 49% of the club where we can earn $3-4 billion dollars and the Socios still have majority ownership of the club,the best of both worlds.We can learn a lesson from Bayern and it's fans.

Simple Answer, No. Sell Kounde, Ferran, Raphina, and even Pedri before Frenkie.

I hope y'all know that he earns the second highest wage in football after Mbappe. We are yet to see him drop a performance like he did with Ajax against RM in the UCL, that was 5 years ago. I challenge you guys to name me atleast 5 iconic performances from Fdj in a Barca shirt. I can't even remember one iconic performance from him here. I'm sorry but keeping him is not sustainable for our club.
