Iron Man Hulkbuster Cosplay #5 | Frame Latches | James Bruton

This is part 5 of my Iron Man Hulkbuster Cosplay - building remotely operating latches to lock the frame up.
In this series, I build a complete Iron Man Hulkbuster cosplay with animatronics and mechatronics with a step-by-step guide to cover everything you’ll need to build your very own suit. From 3D printing the parts to installing the mechanics that make this whole suit wearable and actually able to walk around.

Really coming along well, love the simple mechanisms as their is no need to over complicate everything if the simple solution works well. I can see a slight problem with the boot locking mechanism poking out the back of the frame when unlocked but then I assume that at that point the outer panelling would swing open to allow your legs to get in and out so it's not too big a deal.

The space in between the legs is quite small, how thick will the armor be surrounding the frame? I do love your stuff, and a lot of your ideas are simply brilliant

Looking from the side don't you think that the body part is way smaller than the leg part? Of course there can be a bit difference but it seems too small but it can be because of your body, you are a tall guy and have long legs and the suit is designed for you so I think that should happen. Good Luck with the project :D
