Iron Man Hulkbuster Cosplay #13 | Test Drive & Shoulder Bells | James Bruton
Part 13 of my Hulkbuster build inspired by Avengers Age Of Ultron. Fitting joysticks and trying the suit for weight. Also starting the shoulder bells which I continue in Part 14.
In this series, I build a complete Iron Man Hulkbuster cosplay with animatronics and mechatronics with a step-by-step guide to cover everything you’ll need to build your very own suit. From 3D printing the parts to installing the mechanics that make this whole suit wearable and actually able to walk around.

Hey Hacksmith try making a suit
Pelvic thrusting to lock your knees...yeah that's a new one for me lol
If an Alien Queen ever attacks your attic you are all set you fight her off. Very Power-Loader-esq, loving it.
As far as I'm concerned, you are the real Iron man and you do great on all your projects....Keep up the good work Mr. Bruton
Yay! He's finally doing a test drive
It's looking really nice, man. Can't wait to see those arms completed :D
I just recently found your channel and im loving it keep up the awesome work. I really want to make the iron man suit but not particularly financial at the moment.
Remember when Tony Stark had trouble getting out of the Iron Man Suit in the first movie? Yeah, I was reminded of that.
This is awesome, I can't wait to see it done, so ingenious !!!!
Dang, this is looking great! Good job with all the time and work you've put in this thing!
Loving the videos! Just show you can make anything you want out of whatever you can find! Keep up the great work!
So absurdly cool
Looking forward to see the final product
Can't wait to see the final product! :)
You sir are genius!
Very nice James
Wow you are amazing at this. I want to make things/ invent when I am older
Amazing !!!!
You should make the trigger the hand control, and the thumb button weapons. That way opening and closing the hands would be more of a natural motion, whereas the weapons button would be reminiscent of firing missiles.
Hah! glad to see you using some Plastazote, one of the last things i thought of last night was replacing the larger fiberglass parts with plastazote over the structure of my DOG costume. a little more cost effective and i think a little safer.love watching your stuff ! :) keep up the aweseome work 8D
Fantastico ! Sei un Genio !
Very cool
that is a awesome suit i just started on you'r series but that is amasing.
I like this sort of stuff
Looked uncomfortable for your arms so im glad you addressed the problem in the vid, the knee locking could use some work. Love the shoulder bells, looks pretty cool. Every question or concern I had while watching was answered later in the vid.

yea i think the arms are gonna be the biggest pain when it comes to bringing this to a CON. everything looks amazing but to walk around for even an hour with your arms like that i think will hurt

***** Heh, Iron out.
I could see DARPA giving you a call with a project they have in mind ;)
Awesome! Sick :D
I wish, I mean I really wish, I had James Bruton here with me now to find a way to balance the weights on my Sevenoak steadicam as I'm about to throw it out the window.
As the shoulder bell stands right now it kinda reminds me of a shoulder from halo....just really really big
If only you could mass produce these, I need one!
You should use the switch to control the opening and closing of the weapon pod so you can use the trigger to fire
You are the greatest. ;-)
u could use the buttons ur going to make on the controllers 4 the for unlocking and locking the snow board bindings or the knees
I really enjoy watching your videos every week. In your final version will your arms be visible when operating the suit? If so maybe make a long sleeve shirt that the sleeves are covered in a type of electrical conduit and hydrolytic tubing. I am sure you have it figured out. I just enjoy thinking what you may do next as you build the suit. Keep up the great work!
You might want to program the Buttons, so that you have to press and hold them for atleast 2 seconds in order for the weapons to deploy. You might accidentally press the buttons a lot while walking around, that's why I suggested it.
Watching this videos on this beautiful channel from wild Russia)) Keep doing, your works are amazing and impressive. You have golden hands as we say in Russia or you are a handyman as you say in England))
You might try a cycling shoe/ cleat system to clip in to the legs. They would be way easier to attach and detach.

Great videos by the way. You are good at problem solving. I am currently working on a mk. 7 ironman helmet. Cheers!
You are awesome bro
Cool
So james, with the new position your arms are hanging from, have you thought about how to conceal them? Maybe wear some sleeves to make them look like hidraulic tubes. Unless of course the chest is just very wide and hides them. :)
Must....do...for.......SPACE MAREEEEENNNNNS
This suit reminds me of the handymen from Bioshock infinite.
This is so fucking badass dude.
Hey James just and idea with the desk drawer sliders and the elbows. how bout having the drawer sliders on a pulley system to bend and straighten the elbows to make it a little easier on your arms.
He is the biggest fan of ironman!
Marvel TAS - Iron Man & Hulk 24 - Hulk-Buster (2-2) it would be cool if you did this with your build where you are using another suit inside of this one as well
You should use your original iron man helmet, and add a Hulk Buster Mode, where it contexts the that suit instead
Anyone noticed how this suit looks so much like an exoskeleton of a bioshock suit? XD
Great work, as always, James! Love the suit! Quick Question: Have you thought about how you are going to make the helmet yet? Are you going to make that a dome as well or more along the lines of a traditional Iron Man helmet? Just curious. :)

Nice! Sounds great! Can't wait to see it :)
nice
it might look tacky but i was thinking you should put one of those spinning disco lights in the plastic bowl unibeam
looks like putting the arm controls near the top of the forarm/turned more horizontal inside the bicep would maybe be more comfortable?
Sticking the foam pieces into your oven at super low temp would evenly heat and might be easier next time

wait, i didnt get to the part where you did lol, nevermind
use the blue swithes for the bindings
Pozdrowienia James z Polski :D
Being this good at building cosplay suits should be illegal..... Dont you think?
I need help with a suit like that will you help me...oh and I love how its coming along to when are you making a helmet
After doing this for like entire days at a time, how do you... not go crazy?
could you do it more often ps I liked and subscribed
if you add a belt in the torso it may take some weight of your shoulders.
You are Tony Stark!
Where do you plan to get a grip from those arms? I dont think you will be able to lift those upper arms without activating your joysticks controls if you dont fix your arm to the slide. (at least your wrist)
Are you aiming to finish it when Avengers Age of Ultron comes out
are you going for the dome looking hulkbuster helmet?
Why don't you use got rod red spray paint
AWSOME have you finished the hulk buster dose it fly?dose it have blasts that work
@declanhinshaw4791

+Captain Lego Not done yet. The suit doesn't fly, because it isn't a real suit. Its a cosplay, or costume. Also, you spelt awesome and does wrong
Now the real question is how the heck are you not going to break this huge thing when transporting it better yet HOW are you going to transport it lmfao
That wasn't actually me who put that comment it was my friend that is quite dumb and I was going to stop him from posting it but it wasn't in time😅🔫
Why don't you use a revolver nerf gun with 3d printed parts and an automatic pull/pusher to reactivate the gun to fire again
yeah im really gonna need your help please respond sweet shoulder bell
i must suggest that you please make the suits from five nights at freddy's, please
