He's referring to the USB Accessories setting under Face ID/Touch ID which is toggled OFF by default which prevents any chargers or hacking devices or sound docks from being able to connect to the lighning port after 1 hour of the phone being locked. Example: If I press the lock screen button on my iPhone and I don't unlock it again for 1 or more hours, anything that gets plugged into the lightning port will NOT communicate with the phone. I think this applies to chargers as well. Solution: Turn ON the USB Accessories setting so anything can communicate with your lightning port without having to first unlock your phone screen.

@@Nippelssiini No we don't. Wireless audio will never be as good as a wired connection. While some people may settle for less quality, others will not. All you have to do is look at how many people refuse to buy a phone without a headphone jack to know this to be true. I left the iPhone when they removed the headphone jack as did many other people. It was just a way for Apple to get people to buy the airpods, which sound horrible.

One thing Marques kinda forgot to mention here is the price factor: people tend to trash iPhone for every mistake they make because the prices of their phones are insanely high and people tend to say "phone so expensive and has such stupid issues, that's unacceptable". If some budget phone had those issues, people would be "meh, what you gonna do, that's why they're cheap anyway", but when you give that much money on a phone, you definitely don't expect silly issues like that.

The new iPhone also has another quality control issue. The back glass of some phones breaks (cracks) for no reason (no dropped phones, etc). Several of my friends being told that their phone will not be replaced by Apple because Apple calls it a physical damage caused by rough use. But I most of my friends with this problem insists that the phone's back glass just started to crack for no reason. One of my friends have the crack right across her camera lense and now she can't even take pictures.

But let's say this issue gets fixed, we're still left with a phone that is overpriced (just like the HTC U Ultra), and yet the way that they were reviewed are so different. It's not like the Ultra totally sucked, it's just lacking some features and cost too much - and we can say the same things about the XS/Max. Again, these are just my observations, which may or may not be the same as others, and that's totally fine with me.

Had iPhone 6 from dec 2015 - dec 2019, and I literally didn’t know what bend gate was until like November of 2019. He says the note 8 to note 9 and iPhone X to iPhone XS were good upgrade and he never insults the company. He is every companies favorite reviewer due to his popularity and kindness in the reviews. the master agreed to a certain point. Samsung's most expensive phone is the note 9 ultimate edition (1200) and that comes with a bunch of optional gear, like higher end earbuds and a wireless charging dock. Baseline phone price for a samsung kinda stalls at 1000 for the note9 and a few lower for other models. Memory doesn't really play a factor on samsung or any other droid phones because it is expandable... But if I want a 6.5 inch apple phone with a good amount of storage so i can actually save all those pictures and videos and music and stuff im paying upwards of 1500 euros, wheras a note 9 (although only 6.4inch) would "only" set me back 1000 euros, and maybe 35 euro or 60 extra for an extra 128/256gb memory card. Every phone is overpriced these days, otherwise why would there be "budgetphones" like xiaomi and oneplus, who can give you flagship specs for only a part of the price.... the branding takes the most cash, but apple takes the freakin cake with overpricing last years tech.

Because you’re supposed to buy on a plan with your carrier. I got mine on a 2-year plan, I’m paying only $85/month (Australia), and Apple is supporting 5-year old phones so in 2 years my XS Max will still be running great and I’ll get a new one on a new plan 👍

The “chargegate” you are talking about isn’t only a glitch in XS but also in iPhone 6 running iOS 12.

I’m having SERIOUS issues with my XS max taking the selfies. This phone is totally distorting and messing up my skin colour. Like I’m never brown - there’s shadows and grey.... I may need to go back to using my note 8 if they don’t fix this.... I wonder if other darker skin people are experiencing the same issue. Or even if I do a video using the rear facing camera everyone is telling me that I look plastic and fake no matter how much or how little exposure I have in the room....

I don't know why people still watch that channel. It's basically: 1. Scratch the glass until it scratches around level 5 or 6 2. Was the charging issue something with the XS specifically? Bc I have that same problem with my 6s. Although, it only happens when I have it plugged into an Apple charge cord. If I use a third party cord I don’t have that issue.

One of the only good gates that happened to apple. i.e saved from bankruptcy.

I think it has to do with the long exposure and dynamic range effect that the camera is trying to capture, but this is just the first thoughts of watching this. When Apple debated this I think that they were saying that when taking pictures they wanted to capture the best pictures and saying that stacking the images rendered a better picture is what they were going after. Because when you look at the people's selfies the dynamic range and long exposures would affect these features of "beautygate" smoothing of the skin and boosting lower light (dynamic range) as you said. I don't know though...what are you thoughts? Can you test this? Cause when you look at the difference between the old camera and new, there is less contrast, and brighter images, but the detail is still there. Thoughts?....

My mom experienced u2gate, so I’m watching this with her. She thought my brother and I had downloaded it on her phone.
