I think the reason people like iphone is, and this is from an android fan because 1. the software is not as glitchy, cleaner and much more optimized-speed 2.The Apple ecosystem works very well(air pods, iPad, mac books etc) 3. Its much more simple and predictable Now I know the new iPhones are not that innovative and way too expensive but for someone who always uses apple, I can understand why they like the iPhone.

I just switched from a Galaxy S7 to iPhone 8 yesterday. I love android but it became glitchy after a while and I've been having SMS issues for a while. Also most of my friends/co-workers have iPhones so having iMessage is nice. I can appreciate both OS's and I feel fairly unbiased. Right now the iPhone is definitely running a lot smoother and faster than my android, but it's also very new still. My honest opinion is that most of us use our phones for social media, taking pictures, and googling stuff; and any smartphone can handle that. It's kind of subjective which phone is best.

Yeh but I think the 8 is for me next. I love Touch ID, and the 8 has the same new powerful chip as the iPhone x. I'm gunna let face recognition improve first, because it will. Just like the first Touch ID was good but eventually became super fast. I wanted edge to edge display, but their is just something not winning me over about the X. Could be price? Could be no Touch ID? Could be no physical home button? Could be the notch spoils a full screen display? I'm not sure but I am going with the 8 for a couple of years.

decent? I build an I5 4590 with a GTX 970 for the same price. That is high end gaming. Not top of the line, but basically anything 60fps+. Decent is a $600 with a GTX 750ti and an I3 7350.

Actually, I like the iPhone 7/8 design better than the X. The iPhone X has a feminine, almost childlike look, with the rounded screen. I don't like that. I want the elegant, but sharp look with a more defined screen area. The top area with front facing camera and sensors should NOT interfere with screen content. It looks plain stupid, Apple.

Although expensive it's nice they still put out the iPhone 8 for those needing a new phone but not wanting to spend more than they're used to. I remember holding my friends the 10 for the first time. Very cool compared to my very outdated 7 plus, but still wasn’t enough to make me upgrade. Once the 13 PM came out I finally upgraded lol. What an incredible difference.

How about police.... They can simply show the phone to your face and it will unlock? Unless the swipe up action is also grabbing your fingerprint, that was not made clear... Theres also a reason why every Android fan opts for fingerprint over face unlock. It's easier and can be used in various situations while not having to take a selfie.

Matthew S Apple apparently doesn't know the exchange rate, the iPhone 10 is £999 in the UK and $999 in the US. The UK has to pay £250 more than what they should be paying, its safe to say I won't be getting the iPhone 10 anytime soon will probably just get the Galaxy S8 Plus

That was not true face unlock. I know what you're talking about as I had a old tablet that had the "Face Unlock" feature. That just used how your face looked, and could easily be fooled by someone with a similar resemblance to you, and could not see your face in a 3D way meaning that it would be fooled by a flat object such as a picture. This can not as it has all the sensors that make it secure and useful.

I just got this phone and what’s up with Netflix movies being cropped. To watch videos and immerse yourself you may see the top of people’s head cut off. But the sound from this phone is studio quality and love the selfie camera, takes beautiful pics.

Mood Edits - Bryan H. Samsung removed the physical home button. There is still a home button on the screen. It's just a touch sensor button. I know, I'm looking at it right now on my screen. Apple completely removed it and now you have swipe in multiple different ways to get your phone to do what you want it to do.
