OUR STORY
Geckota was started by the company's managing director, Jonathan Quinn. Initially his vision was to sell watches and watch-straps to like-minded people who would share his enthusiasm for high-quality materials at honest and considered prices. It began as a hobby and an eBay account in the name of WatchGecko but the business has now grown into a thriving independent e-commerce company. We started developing products using the company's name in 2012 after a struggle to find more of the products that our customers were looking for.
Geckota continues to be a successful, ever-growing and dynamic company that believes in a progressive approach when designing, selling and marketing our pieces. We learn from every step taken and always design to our best capabilities, taking inspiration from the past and present to craft amazing products. The company has grown considerably from its early stages but has always had a diligent and pragmatic team that work together in harmony, sharing Jon's vision and work philosophies. Now with full control over design and materials, specifications, marketing and even despatch we can perfect every little detail and remain confident with our work.

good watch. but my cons are these: - gmt bezel (it is unnecessary imo) - 36 mm of diameter is superb however, the lug-to-lug is still long. it could be 43 or 44mm

It's really a beautiful watch but I got discouraged due to the size. Unfortunately I think 37mm is too small for me, although my wrist isn´t so large. It's amazing that in the pictures it looks like bigger.
Love the watch but I am not a fan of this partivular shade of faux patina lume markers. This is a watch I have been waiting for though, a modern small diameter exploration watch.

They have very similar watch with white lime but different dial. Kind of sunburst. Bezel is different too

Interesting case, bezel and dial, but what was the point of a 24-hr bezel if there's no GMT function?

there are only PM hours on the fixed bezel (13-24). A bit like field watches that have both 1-12 and 13-24 scales on the dial.
