nah he don't need a new liver, he's already pickled his 😆😅. My great uncle drank so much liquor over his lifetime and he still out lived all his siblings(died at 98yrs). We often wondered how and came to the conclusion that he drank so much alcohol that he "pickled"(preserved) his organs, much like canning fruits and vegetables to preserve them so they last for years. Lmao

Sgt Hughes has a gift. He was even telling the arresting officers to clear away from the inmate and set him down easy. Some people are just able to break through whatever front people put up and try to act hard. He just talks to them calmly and actually tries to listen to what people have to say.

I agree the sexual abuse against anyone, children being the most heinous act, should be dealt with life sentences even were it’s a VET involved. However when VETs come through the system much more needs to be done to help them, a lot are homeless because they just can’t cope with running a place of their own, they need re training in how to live with the outside world and also treatment for mental health after all the bad stuff that’s just stuck going on repeat in the back of their heads. The fought for our freedom only to come out of the army into the prison of their mind. The devil will build a playground in their heads, they need help and in a westernised society I find it disturbing that we don’t do more to help. Just wish there was a clear cut answer and a President, prime minister etc should pass certain laws that help the VETs, they put them in the position they are in by sending them to fight some wars that we had no right in doing so. So many lives lost and what for, when they left Afghanistan it took 5 minutes for Isis to completely take over, did the western governments really think Isis had gone away? All the time the armies were there Isis were in the caves etc planning for the day they would be taking over. We left so many people over there to the mercy of them, translators etc, all of them will be hunted for life, I hope most of them make it out, they helped our soldiers and our governments just threw them away without a care. Sorry this has been long, I wish I could do a documentary on this and the opioid crisis, mental health and get others involved in helping toward content regarding what they believe can and should be done. But I’m nobody and this is the only platform I can speak how I feel. God bless all those who need help and for the children of the world who are silently suffering. It breaks my heart. I have been through the latter and sometimes writing helps me, please forgive me for the long rant.

Nothing like getting a beer ad on a video about intoxicated inmates in jail. Lol, that's a hell of a contrast. Like, here's what can get you on another video like this... And don't get me wrong, I absolutely enjoy an occasional beer, it's just pretty funny that the advertising somehow ended up on a video highlighting exactly what can go wrong if you drink too many and don't have a solid plan (like, say, simply drinking at home, rather than in public, if you're gonna get absolutely wasted. And never, EVER driving)

What Rabsatt said at the end is absolutely true. I have found that in life myself. Alcohol does not cause someone to act a particular way. It just removes the inhibitions that prevent the person from showing their true colors in day to day life. You truly find out what kind of person someone is when they are under the influence of alcohol.

It seems like everyone automatically assumes every vet has ptsd and that should give them a pass to do whatever they want. There are others that have ptsd but have to deal with it, people abused as children, women who have been raped. My point is that they still have to follow rules in society and even in jail.

It is sad that there is such a thing as 'one of our regulars' there. I must say, the police (on this programme at least, I don't know if it represents how things are generally) treat people so very well, with kindness. Here in England, working with police sometimes and also having been arrested myself a couple of times (never with charge, people!) they are not kind, show no interest and simply chuck you in a cell. Was married to one too, no better!

@Mary Poppins yes I am in the USA, and yes, that is how they are referred to amongst insiders. In the jail, It usually refers to hookers, druggies, abusers, fighters, etc. It's a code used to let others know that a person has had frequent interaction with an agency and to pay attention to notes on those previous interactions. It lets hospital personnel know that a person is making frequent visits with bogus complaints to obtain meds or that the person may have a chronic issue like drug OD or ETOH intoxication/poisoning.
