I had to laugh when Officer Sittre from Clark County said she went from elementary school teacher one day to being a police officer the next. In both cases she's handling a lot of little children. And she does know how to handle difficult people & de-escalate. I've seen her in several videos & she's pretty amazing. Respect to her for how she handles things.

She went from one extreme to another. The little kids listen better than most of the adults that cross the jail doors. She's my favourite officer in the series. I just like her demeanor. She seems like she really does care if the people coming through the door, better themselves. When I was a preschool teacher we had simple songs that would get the kids to sit in a circle, quiet down and listen...maybe they need to make some behave in jail songs...lol.

One can't go from being a teacher to a cop from one day to the next... There's the academy, graduation, tests both physical and mental, backround checks, multiple interviews, a psych eval, a swearing in, and much more involved with becoming a police officer. It can NOT be done in one day, it takes months.

@@devildoll9929 alcohol is, after all, diluted and is poison that makes our brains go wonky; consume too much too quickly and death will occur (happened to my cousin's friend at 13 yrs old, cousin was close). It really does allow the demon that is in each of us to take control; it makes some crazy. What gets me is that this same people go out and do it again; over consume... addicts or addicts in the making. It would’ve been really nice to hear the story from the witness (sitting on the middle, top bunk) to the innate being taken down and getting the bloody nose! I know for order/structure the officer probably HAD to just lead the convo and explain the inmate said he was wrong. It was nice, at least, he went in there to follow up with the roommates. Too bad another account wasn’t listened to - maybe just away from the other guys. I so wonder - even though he admitted being wrong - if the many inmate witnesses (particularly the one closest) thought that it was excessive force of not. Maybe incidents happen so much they it’s all settled as long as the center point person is alright.
