It's good to bring awareness to this phenomenon because there are many people that feel this way deep down inside.
What a wonderful speech and speaker! Brava! Thank you!
What a fantastic talk! Thanks so much Zed for addressing this vital topic.
Oh sister dang this is so right ! I did not know how much this has hit home. Self loathing , self doubt. We need this message to get out now!!!!
We are all products of our environment.. be it good or bad.. it is up to each of us to find meaning among the happiness and sorrow.
Amazing speech, dear Zed! Wonderful to see you out there... Big hugs.
I really needed to hear this TedX Talk! Many thanks for making it available.
Just watching this again after a year's time. Still such a relevant and potent message for me and for all of us I think! Thank you Zed!
Beautiful, thank you. Excellent research and communicated clearly.
Thank you so much for speaking on this!!! This really helped me
Well said - As someone who suffers from internalized sexism, I just wish it was more well-known and explored to find real solutions to undo years of reinforced self-hatred.
Wonderful Talk !hanks for covering and sharing about such an important topic.

So true
This message needs to be heard by many people. In this post-colonial "free society" we live in, the brain, which is the home of oppression, is often ignored. Great message you shared Zed! Thanks.

thank YOU Kirsten.
This is so true, I feel ashamed of my race this is due to the social normalcy and the media in the UK. In the Uk blacks are more socially accepted, particularly mixed race over south asians.
Well done🙏🏿
Thank you Zed...you nailed it. How I wish we can say it loud...change is imminent... a lot of us have been down that road. But thank God to be where I am now to understand it better. Great job Zed 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾✌🏾
Brilliant
All of Latin America is a great example of this due to the super power of America
This was a little eye opening
💗
the sheer fact that this has been viewed theoretically well over 2,000 times, and only has 70 likes... should speak volumes
The 8 dislikes are from the internally oppressed :P
The laughter really disturbed me...
The reconciliation was necessary but the oppressors opening up about what they did during apartheid to us wasn't enough to set us free from oppression

Thank you for your beautiful words. I am sorry that you have gone through all of this. Sometimes white people struggle too.

A woman telling her experience about racism, and how it subconsciously affected her community (e.g everyday language promoting "whiteness"). I'm surprised it was difficult for you to understand, especially with a name like Abdi.
