Sorry to hear that you have experiences that warrant distrust for offline doctors. 😕 I can understand where it comes from. Many of them also do a good job and help people a lot, so maybe we shouldn't condemn a whole profession for the actions of some. 🙏🏻😊
Wow that looks really beneficial. The stick trigger point exercise looks really helpful. 👌

I do this but slightly different. Wedge the stick under the lip if the window then with back to the window lay the stick across the trap. Pull down on the stick, with opposite hand, letting the trap be the lever point. Roll the stick around to find the trigger.
subscribed, great info guys!

I tried this, share a way. I sit on coffee table, face couch and rest stick on back of couch. I never know how to find trigger points, I don't know the sensation.

A trigger point feels painful when you apply pressure on it, or you feel it being really tight and like a knot.
@jamesclark6487
Жыл бұрын
@@movementmaintenance thanks, I can kind of find less comfortable spots (couldn't say painful). The "knot" or "ropey" is something I can't find/feel.
I try to relax and sleep properly, but without fail, I wake up frozen.😅

That's unfortunate. In this case the problem is elsewhere. There might be something off with your overall recovery (nutrition, lack of rest days, etc.). Or you might have some biomechanical problems and weakness in key muscles.
