In this video we will teach you how to release tight scalene muscles. We teach you how to release all three parts of the scalene muscles. Scalene muscles can cause neck pain, elevated 1. or 2. rib. This muscle can cause numbness to your hands, because upper limb nerves go between these fellows.
These stretches are best to do daily if you have problems with it.
Do the tests shown in the video, and if you have nerve issues, now you know what you need to fix.
This video isn’t giving medical advice, so consult your doctor!

    Do you mean if your symptoms can be gone completely? Sure, I don't see why not if you've already received help from the exercises. It usually means that there is a (bio)mechanical reason behind the symptoms and it can be treated. 👍🏻

    Theoretically yes! But don't push too hard. Your fingers and small pressure is enough

    Sorry to hear. 😕 Well, it's difficult to say. Based on your description it's likely that moving your neck like shown in the video might provoke your symptoms. If I was your PT, I would probably have you doing some combination of postural muscle activations and movement control training first to get the symptoms calmed down. 🤔

    Hi, unfortunate to hear. I would suggest you follow the troubleshoot guidelines given in the video for this (less range of motion, less pressure on the rib, less repetitions). If these don'r work, do different stretches and mobility exercises.👍

    @@movementmaintenance The fact that lymph nodes are in the area of the collarbones where you show to press, and the stretches that are going to create a decongestant "movement". I should have added a question mark cause it was more of a guess tbh. But what do you think?

  • @movementmaintenance

    @movementmaintenance

    5 ай бұрын

    Ohhh, sorry I thought you meant it congests (stuffs) the lymph node. Yeah most definitely decongests it. Because stretching motion causes pressure and increases fluid motion. Also muscle activation when bringing your head back from the side increases fluid motion. Sorry, for my misunderstanding. Read it in a hurry😅
