You should try inserting a metal mesh or some sort of screen on the stove pipe, just under the housing cap you made. It will help keep smaller animals and some flying insects out of the pipe when not in use. Great job with the metal working.

As a small boy my grandfather built me an amazing tree house on an old oak stump. Screen door, storm door, opening windows, and he even connected an extension cord so I could have lights at night. I loved sitting in my little rocking chair in summer watching fireflies thru the screen door. The sound of you using those tin snips is the exact same as I remember when he was building the roof. Thank you for bringing back memories from over 45 years ago. Lajka is one again proving to be an excellent supervisor, she keeps you on your best, lol. Beautiful work as always brother, can't wait to see the next developments!

I will comment on all the math involved. People dont realize the amount of measuring & calculations involved. When l did framing l had to learn the math l had always disliked. But as usual you did a BEAUTIFUL JOB!!! The skylight ,l'm sure you have plans for in the scheme of things to come.And l must say you quite the caulker! Good job! The drain can be used to collect rainwater into some kind of container. You can buy a cube for 1000 liters. 🙂
