The kids have no school today so we were extra excited to see your post this morning. After the video, we of course talked about your progress and how beautiful things are coming along. They both see how important you show your dedication to precision, measuring and being exact to each detail. The kids both were talking about how beautiful the video was showing the beautiful trees and the sunshine. You are doing such a fantastic job on the house, the filming and video editing. We never forget that these videos don't magically appear. There's a tremendous amount of work that goes into all of this to produce. As a family, we thank you of course!! The kids and I hope you have a wonderful Season, not just for you but for ALL of your family and of course your beautiful dog. See you in the next video!!!

Greg, my family and I have been watching Luxon Bushcraft for a very long time. My kids have learned so many important techniques and building lessons from his videos. But the most important things they have learned were to be confident in yourself to try new things. Luxon has videos were he makes simple things and then he has videos where he is pounding rocks. There is nothing he won't do. I had girls, but I'd like to think that if I had a boy Luxon would be just like him!! Because I am old and can not get out into the wild any longer, he has taken them to places I never could have and has been an incredible teacher!!@@gregschwartz8977

Где проходит железная труба печки, на забудь обмотать теплоизоляционным материалом, а то может пройти возгорание, вообще лучше бы ло бы выложить кирпичную печь и кирпичную трубу

I think it’s really great that you are recording this entire process! Not just for your viewers, but the house will stand for a long time and your family and descendants will have this fantastic record to look back on. My dad built the house I grew up in (also mostly by himself), and I love that house because it’s all my dad’s work. I would have loved to have a film archive of him building the place, or at least more than the few photos he took while building. Your family is lucky to have all of this! Also, your floors look beautiful 😁

Another pleasant half hour spent watching your cabin come to life. I am always amazed at wood grain, at how it pops right out when either stain or sealer is applied. Torching helps to emphasize Nature's designs even more. Hard to believe that what we're seeing now was once nothing more than a pile of sagging logs and rocks. Under your capable and careful hand, it is slowly becoming a masterpiece. Best wishes to you!

I still say that your show, it's content,and your craftsmanship especially, are second to NO ONE. You can stand back, look at your work and feel a sense of pride today,and I bet in 20 plus years you could do it all over again, because anything you build will stand the test of time and be there in 20 yrs.

I watch a Canadian KZreadr that build a log cabin, his channel is called The Outsider. He also screwed down his floor and at each hole he glued in a copper penny. It look very nice and I wondered how that would look in your floor. The work you do is beautiful. Thank you for taking us along.

Luxon, did your wife get a chance to see the home in person before you started working on it or did she decide to wait until after it is completed to see it? I bet she is so happy and proud of you. I think I would really want to see it in person before and after. It would have more of an impact.

I know you may think I am nosey, and perhaps I am, but I just like knowing what the "woman of the house" thinks about all this. My partner will be moving in with me sometime next year, but he actually built the home he lives in by himself! And yes, I bug him and ask questions of him all the time. lol He's pretty smart, however, and always says I "never" talk too much, lol.
