Inside The World's Most Polluted City
I came to Jakarta the capital of Indonesia, the city known as the polluted on earth! I venture around to see how life is here for over 10 million people. My local friend then takes me to a place where hundreds of people actually live under a bridge. An overwhelming day inside the mega city of Indonesia.

Jakarta has actually been undergoing improvisation since 2013. If you look at photos of the Jakarta River before 2013, the river is nothing more than a trash can. And when the flood comes, this trash goes into people's homes. 10,000 people die from malaria in the capital every year

If that garbage could be turned into gold, there would be the richest city in the universe! It’s hard to imagine people living under bridges. That’s the urban tragedy of the 21st century and a revelation to wealthy cities! Thank you for bringing us different themes, and thank you for your good deeds! Bless those who live under that bridge now, Indonesia, and everyone watching this channel! 🥰🙏

Ben, please tell Kat, when I first went to Peru, decades ago, we were passing through a very poor area to visit a famous statue. My Peruvian friend saw the sadness on my face and she told me "Don't look at how they're living, look at the happiness on their faces". It was the best travel advice I've ever been given, I see the 3rd world with completely different eyes
"Always be nice to each other". Catarina ranks up there as one of the sweetest young women I've seen. She's not one of the typical self involved/entitled 20 somethings that we always see.

Absolutely great content and Kat couldn't have said it better about being kind because you don't know what other people are going through!! Love you guys...be safe...
When you see those people Ben & Katerina, families living together under the road bridge, it humbles you when you realise there are plenty of folk living life out there with the barest of essentials, and yet, they are welcoming, friendly and kind. In contrast, living life in the west, we have so much but we see so many people still unhappy living their life’s. It just proves kindness and happiness comes from within. My mum use to say, when she grew up during WW2, living in poverty back then, we had very little but we were happy. Let’s hope everybody can help raise the funds for the go fund me page. 🍀
Thanks for showing off the touristy beaten path, both sides, the living in comfort with the people live basically underground, yet theyre not complaining in that hardship. Thanks again, another winner vlog. Both you stay safe

The silver paint they use is really bad for their health.
It's better to live in the village, even if you don't become rich, the important thing is to have enough and have a decent house. Instead of living in a big city but not having the skills, you end up being poor and living under a bridge in an inadequate house.

Excellent video my friend! Great job getting a go fund me going for those people. That's truly emotional to see that way of life but also showed people's determination to live there life. I think at this point Ben it's time to take Cat on full time with you. You two are just the perfect team and compliment each other so well. Plus she's not bad looking so I think you two can be great couple but at same time if you two have an amazing unbreakable friendship then sometimes making it a relationship and hurt that friendship in future if didn't work out. So I totally understand if that's why your just friends. True friendship with a person you know will always be there and never lie or try to hurt you is a friendship for life and not with ruining over trying to date. Enough about that just find a way to keep her on the journey with you as really sets a balance on your channel in a great way and hope for safe travels and more amazing content! 🥂💯

Waiting for Mr. Bald to come to Indonesia, especially Jakarta. Speaking of pollution, a few months ago there was a pollution epidemic in Jakarta.
The government is trying to build a dam and reclamation of the North coast of Jakarta like in the Netherlands to prevent Jakarta from sinking. but the people of the North Coast refused. so the government changed plans by moving the old capital to Kalimantan. a place far from earthquakes, tsunamis and floods
