They should do a live stream, sell it on pay-per-view and donate all of the profits to the victims' family. Could also do live chat where viewers could write to the soon-to-be-dead asshole to tell him what they think of him. I'm gonna pitch this idea to Amazon, I bet they'll be all over it.

As a Paramedic, I have seen many pass or going to pass in my 23 years of experience! One thing I learned very fast, that you don't want to look into that person eyes when it does or seconds from happening! I will never forget that individuals face in my memory many decades later. I feel like it is like a door into that person's soul or something similar! I feel for the family!

We have this huge crisis with opiates in the US, as our OD numbers in this country are off the charts. One massive dose of IV fentanyl will knock them out AND stop their breathing. I never understood why this method isnt used bc it's clearly effective: if you give a high enough dose of fentanyl to even a heavy user let alone an opiate naive prisoner, boom, most addicts are dead before they even have the chance to take the needle out of their arm. Take the highest possible dose that's medically safe for an opiate tolerant person and multiply it by 1000.....tolerance wont matter w a dose that high. Unconcioisness happens immediately, no pain, then breathing stops. Nobody will still be moving after 6 minutes, I assure you.

The question we don't know is whether the murderer was in any pain during the two hours of seemingly delayed execution. All we can know is what we observe. If he wasn't moving (muscles twitching, facial expression changing, etc.) in some way to indicate he was feeling pain, then the execution was humane to my understanding. And, what is two hours compared to the QUARTER OF A CENTURY the murderer was kept alive through the agonizing appeals 'protection' we have in our judicial system?!

I DON’T care what anybody says, the death penalty is WRONG, to many INNOCENT people get executed, “state sponsored “ death in the case of innocent people is murder, the death of one INNOCENT person is enough for anyone, or should be, to realise that the death penalty is a flawed form of “punishment “, personally if I saw someone die for a crime against my family, and then to be proven innocent I could not live with the guilt of knowing that someone died, wrongly, to “satisfy “ my desire for revenge. Executions don’t give “closure “ or a “way forward” it’s purely REVENGE, and it’s about time we, humanity, displayed our “evolved” sense of compassion, understanding, humility and humanity, and until we do we are no better than animals. If my opinions upset anyone, especially the “gung-ho” pro death penalty individual, the DILLIGAF? NO, not on YOUR life, let alone mine. P.S, these two presenters are discussing a mans death as though it was a side show at the circus, it’s not something that should be sensationalised by the media, is it really worthy of such coverage? NO, not in a million years.

People say that but ask the guy who's about to be executed whether or not he'd have that and you'd be surprised that most the time he would rather take a life sentence than be executed. Somebody who commits murder in my opinion forfeits their own life. Only people that disagree with that are criminals.

My great Uncle served a life sentence for killing 2 people and this was waaaay back in the day of segregation in South Carolina. They didn't give him death because it was a black on black crime. I remember visiting him in prison I was about 8 years old and we were out in a picnic area and he came out in a 3 piece suit. I guess he was a model prisoner and he got special permission to be able to wear it for his visit. To our knowledge no one messed with him. Most inmates spoke highly of him same with the CO's, so I guess it depends on the inmate and how they conduct themselves within the prison. Now grant it Prison was not Club Med, but he wasn't being beat on or mistreated. At least not when he got old. I'm sure he got roughed up when he was still younger though.

what a big show, the event would have a lot more impact if it were broadcast live directly from the death chamber. why not switch on advertising: this incomparable experience will be presented to you by ... "or you offer viewers the opportunity to bet:" how long will our leading actor last today? "at the same time, with cola and pocorn the progress can be observed on the heart monitor .....

As for the drugs, the drug companies were paid for the meds just like hospitals do every day , after the sale the suppliers should have zero input as to how the drugs are used. All 3 of the standard drugs were used on my husband in non-lethal doses when he had open heart surgery. and he is fine after 2 years have passed. The drug companies have no complaints about the fortunes they make from hospitals annually yet the prison system is unable to use their products ?? There is a drug lab SOMEWHERE in the US that could breakdown the chemical compound and create a genetic of each of these drugs and could make a fortune selling to DP states. To date this has not happened but the possibility is always there.

You do the crime, you lose your time. UNLESS evidence is circumstantial, no credible witnesses, no recorded media of said crime, lock em up. Keep researching the evidence. Otherwise, shitcunts deserve what they ask for by their behaviour.

Mr. Troy Hayden, you are a joke to journalism. You demonstrated that at the press conference following Joseph Woods execution. You're bleeding heart coward that you couldn't even look at the family as they walked past you. You were ashamed as you should be. Know your place, report and leave emotions at the door. Too difficult for you, I suppose. You looked straight ahead as the Brown family walked by, avoiding all contact, silent in your chair like a child. You're not a man, a pure coward and a terrible biased reporter who deserves no respect.
