INLAY DELIVERY WITH WARM COMPOSITE | A BIOMIMETIC APPROACH
This video shows all the steps for a clean biomimetic cementation of an inlay restoration under perfect Rubber Dam isolation (tooth #5 MOD). Both teeth were ceramic inlays but I would normally do a filling for #4. This was for my assistant and she really wanted a ceramic inlay for both.

Thanks! This was Optibond FL adhesive only for the cementation (no primer).

@@BiomimeticDentistry Using only the second stage within Optibond FL makes sense if ur not sandblasting.Since u did sandblast i would say use both.Awesome job nevertheless

What type of composite are you using to lute?

The dentin was sealed at prep time. Its a procedure called Immediate Dentin Sealing.
Great dr Sometimes i get confused which the buccal and which is the lingual side of an overlay result in wrong delivery first then i adjust it but i feel uncomfortable with it Any tips for it to distinguish between buccal and lingual?

I just look it at carefully on the model and make some good observations about the mesial and distal sides!
Hello dr I sometimes cant hold overlay with my hand and it may slippage An tip to hold it insetad of liquidam as it sometes stick to it ? Thank u

Not really, just practice basically. I usually use my fingers.
Why did you only put Teflon on the mesial tooth?

To keep adhesive from getting on there and the composite because that was being delivered after.
is there any alternative for air abrasion dr as i can't find it in my country ?

Air abrasion gives the best bond strength by quite a lot
Loupe brand pls? And how many x? Why total etch? How did u film the procedure?

Depends on patient. What is the lifespan of a tooth ? Really depends on patient right? But in a normal environment 30 years or more.
