IINFJ Personality Type Explained | Why INFJs Are Born Alchemists: It's INFJ warrior month and today in particular, we're asking the questions: Are INFJs born alchemists, and please don't take it from an esoteric standpoint because we can look at what the word alchemist really means. It's about transformation, transformation of the mind, transformation of our belief systems and of our self-image because there are a lot of strengths we, as INFJs] have, but the thing that is most prevailing, the thing that's gonna make the biggest change isn't the fact that we can hold on to something very strongly. It's also not the fact that we have great ideas or that we understand others, all of these are great qualities that will help us. But the thing that we can do so well is transformation. And it's about time we talk about this in detail so you can use it in your life, transform all of your belief systems in a way that makes you feel like you're more yourself. You get to chase your dreams and you feel like you're moving forward in life.

What has been the biggest transformation you have gone through?

  • @NigelRowe

Hmm 🤔 The biggest transformation; has been; changing my belief system( it honestly used to cripple me). This has enabled me to do things; I would have otherwise; been too afraid to engage in/ start. Furthermore it’s allowed me to stop setting limits on what I can achieve; I mean honestly if other people can achieve greatness; why shouldn’t this apply to me? although I’m not where I want to be; I’m much further than I ever thought I would be. I must however add; that being that I am an INFJ; everything i do is based on visions; and sometimes these visions although being extremely beautiful; do come packed with an insane workload 😅 ( seeing the results is what keeps me going ☺️).

I am still trying to become better every day, but I have discovered a lot of useful information about myself while researching MBTI and my type, INFJ. I have become able to analyze myself and figure things out with much more ease. I used to not know anything about myself, confused about why I did and said certain things, but I kept repeating the same mistakes and losing progress, friends, and even myself. I am not nearly where I want to be at all, and I don't use MBTI or your videos as a crutch per say, but it does help encourage me and provide new information that I could use, or even reaffirm information that may have strayed far from my mind. So perhaps I'm transforming now lol. I started by figuring out what to do with friends that were holding me back, but without completely abandoning them like before. Thank you and keep doing what you love :D

When I learned about the MBTI and took the survey 3x and all 3 end results were INFJ. After I watched a vlog about about self love and how INFJ's have high expectations , goals, and are extremely hard on themselves, resulting in self hate and low self esteem if objectives weren't met . After I forgave myself and endorsed the concept of self love , I feel happy and have finally found my inner peace , .....a journey which took a lifetime .......thanks for the info.

Mine has been recent. And it's actually thanks to you. I used to feel down with my job searches, thinking I had to just take whatever I could and feeling like I wouldn't amount to much. But this was all things my family pushed onto me. I now know I need to find what will help me. I can't let myself get so burnt out again. And I need to ignore my brother's claims that I am a horrible example for our younger siblings - just for not having the physical capacity to work, let alone get up most days. I understand I need a job, but I need to ignore what types of jobs everyone keeps trying to push on me and find my own way.

When I used to watch motivational speakers, their message didn't completely resonate. Listening to you, I now know why. I'm not supposed to fit into the norm - I'm supposed to create my own systems. Thank you for your valuable work Wenzes. You're really an important resource on my transformational journey. It's great to hear someone so balanced.

What has been the biggest transformation I have gone through ? The transformation from the nice guy who encouraged other folks and was supportive , to the quiet guy who tapped into his capabilities and became the lone wolf, independent and free warrior I need to be. I still help and assist others, yet I don't allow others to monopolize all of my free time. I have a hobby as well as a career that are both going well. Also, I didn't follow the same path that others in the family took. I was the only one who enlisted in the military and retired from it after 21 years. I like this video. Thanks.

i would love to see some data on MBTI in regards to service in the military... how much of that are you able to see is created by our US culture and how much is genuine human compassion.... dont get me wrong... i do NOT want you to feel judged in anyway... i dont want you to feel like im saying you are the problem because i am most def NOT.... i just find it hard to understand how a true INFJ could kill anyone.... without genuine cause that is specific to the individual... i just dont see many real INFJ's becoming..... killers of other humans in any form or for any reason... i hate pedos... but even then im not sure id be able as a real INFJ, to kill anyone unless they were threatening those who cannot protect themselves... just personal thoughts please dont feel like anyone but ME thinks this.. you are perfect as you are... i am just curious is all.

Thanks to COVID (thank you universe 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼) I have had the biggest transformation EVER - and I was always a transforming person. And you are so right. Thanks for that! For a very long time, I was stuck in a job as a therapist that was generally good financially, but was torture for me as a human. I felt like an impostor for years, but once I began to do the heavy lifting on myself, and confronted all that was holding me back, I began to see the light. In short, once I realized how I had gone off the path, and was essentially living for other people, I kept working on letting go of various facets of my thinking that needed to go, needed to change. In fact, through the process of discovering that I was an INFJ, and pushed to learn everything I could about the real, authentic me, it all started to come together. I continued to re-assess my life, what had really gone on and why. You know, the kind of life review I think most of us perform fairly routinely, and it all began to come together. Long story short, I had gone to undergrad and grad school, and worked as a therapist for many years. I did love the work, for the most part, and was highly regarded, well-liked, etc., but I was miserable. Well, about a year ago I started my own private practice, and now, I have left my ball and chain that had become impossible for me, and am now doing the work I feel I was born to do. It took years of thinking, self-analysis, a divorce, a death in the family, and many tears were shed in the process. But in the end, it was a process that changed my life, and gives me hope that I thought was not possible for me. I am no longer confused about who I am, as I was for a long time. I forgave myself for beating myself up as though I had done something wrong, as though I was just a flawed human. Once I had the stark realization that not only is there nothing wrong with me (generally speaking, lol), but that I am, in fact, who I was meant to be, or at least moving toward that, the world opened up to me. Again, much hard work, both internal and external, was required, but I feel as though I have been reborn. And whether or not you care to know, perhaps for your own reference, I am pretty positive I am a 5x4. Anyway, thanks for your content. I appreciate your take! And this video was particularly relevant to my current situation.

I was hired by a sensing uncle in a sensor dominated group to build a business. I don't agree that we can enter most groups and find our chameleon-like way to success. The level of contempt & fear they have for our "methods" has to be taken more seriously by me. I call sensors censurers & sensors for good reason. There is other advise out on the interweb saying: INFJ? Don't stay where you are not wanted--where you have an ISTJ, for instance, supervising & doubting your every move--and, I agree. Getting something off the ground is challenge enough--you cannot add a cadre of group thinking sensors to your creative mix and expect to come out on top. Taking them seriously is hard--because their issues can be easily dismissed. But, dismiss them at your peril because now you enter the realm of normal people, normal sensors operating w a full display of disturbingly narky behaviors. I worked for a sensing group. It took a couple of months before they were re-introduced as flying monkeys. Devastation.

I hear what you’re saying Wenzes. I want to be the one to kick myself in the 🫏! Hahaha 😂 I often get started then get distracted and time goes by it’s too late in the day to walk outside. I’ll set alarms, make a lunch, check the weather, make sure my water bottle is full, get my gear ready. Then the dreaded phone rings. Take care of that small fire. Then get distracted. Hahaha 😂 too funny. I refuse to worry about not getting started and carrying that self imposed guilt. Tomorrow is another day. No worries. It was a good day I accomplished things. Not as much as I wanted. It will do. Thanks Wenzes. 😊

Oh, how I needed this today! Right now, I'm struggling with finding my job path - all I want to do is write but who's going to pay me while I do it? ;) Also, due to COVID, my job situation is even more unstable than it used to be so I am definitely looking to use those transformative skills of mine. Right now, I don't know how but I how I'll find out. You ask about big transformation in our lives - well, I've gone from often negative and frustrated to quickly changing to "so what can I do to feel better?" mode - and doing that. I've also changed my carrier path once already, going from working with admin tasks in the local business retail center to teaching Danish language and culture. Huge step and much more me ;) Now, I'm ready to move past teaching and create something myself :0)

Wise words out there. For a long time, I try to fit in just like you. I become pc tech and net tech at a young age. Still, I never liked that in all my life I was attracted to the mystic and the hidden aspects for me learn on that was super important and full of joy there is not a day that not passing that I don't delve into the mystics, for a long time I was want to be a healer. Still, I have a problem taking money for spiritual gifts as it's not my way being INFJ type 1. I don't want to be like all those corrupted mystics. I still don't know what to do yet, but I know I figure that out I can feel it.

I can totally feel your struggle, i have also the same thing to actually make people grow. Economy can be sometimes the biggest issue for making it happen. If you are born to be what you are and you still choose something else then you aren't in full control. The finance that you work with can be as well a finance for what you want. If you are a Sigma in the society it will be much easier to find what you should strife for. Accepting the mysterious enigma inside of you isn't so bad as people might think.

It's not hard if you do what you love. I love playing guitar, it's a new hobbie I started just before Covid was a thing(funny if you think about it, I started it just before, like it was the perfect idea and I didn't even know why, in hindsight I do now) and practicing daily to get better and better is boring for most people, but it's not to me because I love progressing, getting better, having a meaning behind it...it was always like that, what people find difficult in general it was easy to me to do on a consistent basis IF and very important IF is something I love doing. I don't think it's just INFJ, I believe it applies to everyone. I've seen it many times, I go to my job and some people love it, some hate it, even though it's the same job. What I'm trying to say is, nothing is hard if you enjoy the process, yea, we need some discipline, but if you know why you're doing it on the days you don't feel like it, then it's so much easier..because you still love what you do...even on a bad day. Idk where I'm going with this, thought I'd share hehe thanks for reading anyone, peace!

It's not mandatory to do a healing career, we can do this a side and do other career. You shouldn't attach the infj personnality to the healing careers, every individual is different, not every infj is an NiFe Dominant. And INFJ is just a model it is not the final word.
