Wow I liked his energy even before he started talking. Such a charming, smart, cool guy. Love ENTPs!

ENTP are both Intuitive dominant and share the Fe/Ti axis so we compliment each other well, ENTP inspires our Ti and we inspire their Fe. To me it’s like we come to the same conclusion but through different methods.

just an ENTP with strong Fe, you're biased because you search in someone sympathy and "emotional maturity", whatever that means. For me he mainly comes across as fake.

@@cstharlo For me the same, he seems to have high Fe but low real empathy= fake empathy or sympathy. Sorry my English, I'm Spanish. Even I noticed that the conversation didn't have a logic/empathy continuity, as Julien didn't answered what Ren asked and started to speak about himself or about other thing many times, even the bewilderment in Ren's face in that moments is quite evident. Also Julien pretended to know functions but after that he continue talking about letters in a nonsense way, so not strong Ti in him. I'm ENTP, maybe a mature one hahaha. What's your type, Tharlo?

I don't see how it's biased to search for someone's empathy and emotional maturity since that's what any not accustomed type can achieve through maturity. So it's definitely not fake if it comes from a real concern. It's like saying it's biased to search for maturity. Even if people with low Fe can tend to use it in a fake way, there is always the potential to use it in a genuine respectuous of others' feelings way (which is what it means) since it's their emotional part and they stay emotional, especially ENTPs. His calm demeanor just doesn't allow to read his emotions clearly.

Interesting... :-) I'm an INFJ watching this, and the magnetism in your interplay is quite palpable.

Great to meet ENTP Julien! And am so envious of his travels! Wow man, so cool. I've been to nine [ten if mine counts] countries thus far but working on how to see more. My brother is ENTP and I feel very fortunate.

The relationship which INFJs and ENTPs have is very much associated with the balance between Ti and Fe. This makes for similar thought and conversation processes, which is good for relation and communication.

Renaud is so cute and sweet. I would cuddle with him all day.

Great video, thanks guys.my initial impression was to question if Julian is extroverted as what threw me was his energy reading...calm collected composed deep...which to me reads very introverted as in introspective and self aware.then you clarify entps are introspective so it makes sense now to me that he is a self energised extrovert.with the curiosity and the vast hunger for variety, he still reads so calm and collected ... Fidgety on the fe yes.Perhaps honing that can intoduce tower moments that can threaten the fabric of all that logical bliss. You really compliment each other so well and you have so much to offer in this friendship especially that your fe Ren is not suffocating and Julian's extroversion is not on steroids. Lovely to watch this interaction.

Thanks Emma, yes I initially also wondered about Julien’s extroversion but he really is extroverted, he is very energized by conversations of all sorts and doesn’t seem to ever get tired!

ENTP are my favourite people! (INFJ here)

I’ve heard that entps are the most introverted extrovert, and infjs arguably the most extroverted introvert. Also their minds go to places that would be intrusive to some if it weren’t so open ended in fact also 😁 Which seems to be something that I think appeals to us infjs. They are also both passionate and dispassionate in a way that infjs are (even if they deny this) All of this meaning that we may be similarly contradictory mbti types

ENTP guy is cool and has that more laid back attitude, typical of Perceivers. You look quite nervous is this video Ren, I know it's from 2 years ago now. NTs are pretty 'together' in general. ENTP can probably fill in gaps which INFJ struggle with, and maybe vice versa. I feel I could easily like and get on with that guy.

This makes so much sense with an ENTP I was talking to. He was joking, saying "us ENTPs bring out the worst in people." I responded, saying "actually, I think ENTPs are some of the most misunderstood people out there." At that, his demeanor changed, somewhat embarrassed. I didn't mean to make him shy, thought it was kinda cute lol.

Its hard 2 tell what type one really is! I considered my self as ENTP 4 one year now. But somehow I sense I'm actually an INFJ/ Ni Ti Dom, so my ENFP shadow acts out like an ENTP. On the other side I could also be an ENTP/ Ne Fe Dom, so my shadow of INTJ acts out like an INFJ.

All ENTP's tell me "You don't have to work this hard." and that is so dismissive of my work. I appreciate them so much, but I feel "less than" when I talk to them. I guess I should be more vocal about that feeling.

ENTPs often embrace physical organization because of their inferior Si. Physical and logistical chaos is stressful and intrusive on their mental play, so they tend to have either chaotic physical environments or somewhat rigid but rigorous organizational systems that are often difficult to follow long term.

Are you really sure he's not an ENFP? His calmness is very typical of well developed ENFPs males and they can often be mistyped with ENTPs, because of the cultural tendency of pushing men towards rationality instead of feelings. He really reminds me of a close enfp male friend of mine. Anyway thank you for this beautiful human connection, I've really enjoyed it. You're two genuine people. :))

Thank you very much for your kind words! I see what you mean about ENFPs, it is true that mature ones can have this calm vibe much opposed to preconceptions about them. But Julien is definitely a T type, he's got very developed Ti. I don't think his Te is nearly as developed.

Cool! I wish I had ENTPs in my life I’m infj

My husband is an ENTP. They are the introverted extroverts. I always considered him an introvert and then it hit me one day… though he isn’t the first to jump at opportunities to socialize he *does* need to leave the house every day. He has to be out amongst people, even if he doesn’t talk to any of them…. I could stay home for weeks. I’m INFJ… he helped me understand that I had Ni, when I explained it to him he said “yes! You need to have a ‘grand theory of everything’”. Meaning, to me, everything ends up being connected if I think about it long enough. And yes- ENTPs are far more scattered than one might realize because they are so clear in what they believe about things. Once you talk to them for awhile you see the Ne… he goes on and on and on…. the J in the INFJ can sometimes get really short with him at times, even INFJs can be impatient haha ENTP Fe is most obvious in their playfulness. The car model helped me see this, they seem to enjoy manipulating emotional and relational dynamics (for better or worse), it’s their 3rd function, where they go to play.

Why INFJ struggles to get into relationships? Kindly answer, sir 🙂

I considered my self 4 one year now as ENTP. But now I sense I'm an Infj, NiTi dom. So my Enfp shadow acts out like an Entp. On the other side I could be as well an Entp, NeFe dom. So my Intj shadow would act out like Infj. It's hard 2 figure out where someone really belongs in that typing scale.

@@TheMastred No, no, no, your English is not bad because I understand, however I do think that you had so much to say, but limited ways in which you had to explain yourself. For example, if you were speaking in French, you would be much more talkative because that's the language in which you are best at.

Also, in the start, he also looked very astonished by you? What did you do to the guy?!

Aussie men aren't like this with each other typically, not in such expressive words at least and I wish they were. It's more mature and healthy.
