The designer gives the historical context in the board wargame INFERNO, Volume III of the Levy & Campaign Series (www.gmtgames.com/p-952-infern....
This summary aims at players who know earlier volumes. Rather than teaching how to play, it provides political background underlying the game design and samples related game mechanics, particularly with regard to 13th-Century Tuscany’s urban strongholds that star in the game.

History that deserves to be remembered, brought to life in a clever and thoughtful way. Thank you. It is heavy, and needs some online teaching assistance to make it more easily accessible
Looking forward to the more manageable “Plantagenet” in the L&C series.
This is a game that makes me cry! I'm from Colle di Val d'Elsa (Colle in the game, Battaglia di Colle 1269) and we still feel some old time rivalry
Just watching this. Love the work you do :)
What a fantastic material! Inferno will be a great successor to the Nevsky & Almoravid!
Great job friend !

Congratulations Enrico, it is a wonderful design as a game and fascinating as history.
Fascinating. I love the research that goes into these titles and how the history in the playbook is reflected in the game. Really looking forward to it.

So looking forward to this. So much flavour. L&C is such an exciting series helping many to 'discover' fascinating history. I have thoroughly enjoyed the puzzle of Nevsky. Many thanks Volko!

Game after game this Serie of Levy and Campaign is become more interesting. Now I have my eyes keep in "Plantagenet" by Paco Gradaille. And my copy in spanish of "Almoravid" is almost to be released by NAC Wargames. I saw the avanced copy in BellotaCon at Badajoz (Spain) the last week.

scusa al punto 22.55 c'è una "pianta" della battaglia di Montaperti...ma è del gioco o se no, da dove è stata estratta?

Hello Paolo! That Montaperti battle graphic is by Enrico Acerbi. It does appear in the published game, in its Background booklet. Ciao!
