The problem with only one lady standing in the middle of the road is that people are thinking otherwise. Had there been more women on the street these brazen approaches would have been avoided. It surprised me that not one cop approached her and asked if she needs help. Would request both BJP and AAP to start working on this immediately without playing childish blame games. As a temporary measure maybe, ladies can be allowed to carry guns with rubber bullets. That will act as a big deterrent for these men and also help get more ladies on the street at late hours.

I just want to say that India has as much as population as china has, and Indians mostly are very biased towards China, but as someone who has lived in China for around 4 years, i must say thay China is very safe compared to India, women can walk around at night without being followed or catcalled. They mostly mind their own businesses. I have once walked around the place until 6 am in the morning from around 2:30 am and noone has disturbed me, i am sure if i did that in India it wouldn't have been the case. If China with such a huge population can achieve women safety at night, why not India??

Haa haa, it happened to me, some years back when I was in class 5 or 6, I asked for lift, a man point towards helmet and move forward but just 10 meters away a women ask for lift and she got it😂 I felt very sad. To be clear, I was living in Navy campus and it was very safe cause everyone needs an identity card to cross the gates, so yeah It was very normal, and everyone in the campus was a govt. Servent In Navy or any department of Military.

This is not only in delhi, I was walking in gurgaon in a market place to feed dogs, a man educated, well spoken orders me to sit in his car, not even afraid that people are hearing him and seeing him. This is the condition of women safety in india. Woman walking alone are available and want to go with men for fun. This what goes on in the general publics minds

If the government is not working on your safty atleast make an effect on your side. At the night to be exact after 12:00a.m. no one is safe outside even it is boy or girl. This video only shows how people approached and tried to give her lift. Some even approached assuming that she was a prostitute. Still don't know how is that risky. I mean i literally say a video of a girl walking in New York in daytime in crowd and being catcalled by strangers. One even started stalking and following her, now that's a risk. India is very safe place compared to the rest of the world. Stil there is a room of improvement.
