Prime Crime: Woman Mysteriously Murdered Minutes After Date in Texas

Anna Moriah "Mo" Wilson stayed with a friend in her Texas apartment as she prepared to compete in a cycling race in May 2022. Wilson, a professional cyclist, went out with her friend and fellow pro cyclist Colin Strickland for a swim and dinner before he dropped her off back at the apartment. Wilson's friend came home after a night out and found the cyclist dead from what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. Investigators immediately contacted Strickland the next day and informed him of the tragic news, but they knew he wasn't a suspect. Find out what really happened to Mo Wilson that fatal night on this episode of "Prime Crime with Jesse Weber."

These sorts of people don't act with logic. They typically are extremely narcissistic and act impulsively without any regard for human life including their own nor consequences. And even if they have considered the consequences they convince themselves they are cunning and smart enough to get away with it which is part of the narcissism.

That guy she went on a date with is so “lucky” that neighbourhood cameras existed. Without the one showing he rode home, and without the one showing the time of the gunshots, he would have been suspect number one. And adds another dimension of bad luck for the victim. You think going on a first date the danger is the man you’re going out with, not some crazy ex.

This is the first mistake Armstrong made. Allowing herself in her mid-thirties no less to be strung along in a 3-year on-again-off-again relationship with a man who "doesn't see her as a life partner". Very selfish of him. But ultimately, she did not have to kill Mo. She should have walked away. Instead, she chose murder. She threw away Mo's life and her own. Over a man who didn't even want to be with her. It's sad.

As someone who lived with an ex for a few months after our breakup, DO NOT date someone with this sort of living situation. Even though we were over, I was absolutely devastated when she started seeing other guys, because we’d still interact with each other at home like we were a couple, minus the physical intimacy. This is not a healthy living situation, no matter how much one of them will try and convince you it is. Especially if they are in a toxic cycle of on again/off again.

@@audreyhuggins8822 Absolutely agree. That scream was all in once. It wasnt the loud alarming scream we know from movies, or when someone tries to alert other people. For me it sounded like a big scared scream - like realizing in disbelief ''This is my last moment... i dont want it - but it is''.. Its absolutely horrifying... its like a deep breath in, and like a ''scream in shock'' (its why its not as loud as it could be). Its real, and the scream shows: Mo knew: there is no arguing at that moment. A ''no!''....or ''please !!'' wouldnt make any sense in that moment. Mo felt that it wouldnt make any sense to say any words. It tells a lot, what she saw in her last moments. What she saw has to be a woman with furious crazy but very deterministic nightmarish eyes, who was waiting and wishing for that moment to come for over one hour. A woman who's face was awaiting that satisfaction of killing her. There was no words Mo could have spoken to that nightmare of a woman. Her last scream was in my opinion therefore a mirror-image of the nightmare she saw and felt in that moment.

Maybe it would be worth pointing out that the dispatcher was on the phone with her, and listening to the woman's description of her friend whilst under tremendous emotional distress. It is possible that, in certain cases, the description given to the dispatcher is not accurate, like not being able to tell if the person is breathing, or where the blood is coming from. The dispatcher cannot trust what the woman is saying 100%, so they have protocols in these cases - like instructing them to perform CPR. Had the woman told the dispatcher that her friend's head was not attached to the body for example, then I think the dispatcher would have not mentioned CPR.

I thought so too at first but I think it was an act. She wasn’t under arrest so the detective was trying to make it like two girlfriends having a chat to draw as much out of her as possible before she left.

They do it for the money. They look at it as just a job because that is what they are taught in Law school. Law school don't teach you about Justice, they teach you that it is YOUR job to defend your client regardless of Justice. Don't kid yourself and believe them when they tell you that they are in it for Justice. LOL!

Bc they didn’t use the name she goes by. This isn’t someone who’s been friends with her for years and years and knows her birth name and every name she goes by. He knows he by the name he was introduced to her with.
