Betty is an amazing person. She may come off quick and rude and ungrateful, but that seems to just be the way she communicates and clearly means nothing by it after you watch a few videos. Although I feel very sorry for Ray, Timmy, and Loraine I almost envy their blissful ignorance. They literally have one of the worst lifes imaginable, but they wake up everyday happy and don't even realize it. Yet at the same time we have millionaires with what seems like the perfect life commiting suicide everyday. I think that is what draws me to these videos the most.

@@animeboy2195 double cousins are cousins in the normal sense, but are created as a result of identical twins having children with other people. Twins have the same genome, and so their children, although cousins, have more of the same DNA common between them. (12.5% in cousins, 25% in double cousins, 25% in half siblings, 50% in siblings) I believe that the mother and father of the Whittaker family were the children of twin brothers. Obviously, the more DNA that someone shares with a partner, the more likely recessive physical and mental impairments are to develop. They really had an unfortunate start to life, so it is nice to see that they're making the best of their situation.

They have enough money to live better than that they are not poor. I live alone in a one-bedroom house and I get one social security check a month plus food stamps. And I live way better than they do my house is nice and clean I have enough money to buy good clothes and keep my house clean and everything. I'm wondering what are they doing with all that money. Thank you for being patient with them and showing them kindness. No matter what someone's circumstances are, they deserve respect. Though I know a lot of this family's misfortune is due to inbreeding/genetics, but it's also due to the impoverished area they live in. Much of Appalachia struggles due to lack of funding and people either turn a blind eye or they mock them. Just happy to see someone who coming from a point of compassion. I hope the Whittakers get more funding to improve their living. Thank you for sharing their story.

They may not know much, but it’s abundantly clear that they know love. They know love and they know one another, the value of family and devotion. This also goes to show that with some patience, you can communicate with anyone, all you both need is a desire to reach understanding. Yes especially since she said friends got married and don't come around much anymore (aint that the case for many adults) so it is great that he has been coming around 15 years and has been able to help them as well, and they help him too. It could be seen as something negative like they are being exploited but I don't think so because he seems to genuinely care for this family and they for him, hugs and all.

Yeah I agree Ray's one helluva character that's for sure with more brain's than he's given credit for, if only he could communicate better he'd have a lot to say & talk about giving us a better insight into his & his family's lifestyle & about them all growing up together. One thing's for sure there's no lacking love within this family cause from where I'm sitting it speaks volumes without having to say so 👌👌👌

Would he be the most chillest dude ever? You can't tell there parents really messed them up why do you love the relationship what's so awesome about it I'm just curious some of these comments just blow me away I don't what to think it seems like a lot of ppl feel they need to just love the shit out of these ppl in reality would never have them over to hang out at your house would you be okay with them all coming to pay you a visit? Would you like to have them over, and treat them to dinner? let then stay a few night at your house if they were put in a situation would you take them in for a few nights? I'm genuinely curious, or would you feel better paying to have them stay in a hotel ?

Yes if I had the means to help out a whole family I would in a heartbeat I do not care what they’ve been through in the past I just wish they have a better future and yes I do love the relationship mark has built with them you can see them getting close to him each time he sees them and based on the story’s they’ve for sure come to like mark. And that’s a weird question as I don’t think a whole family can fit in my house but I wish you the best aswell thanks for you comment ♥️
