Appeal court always find wanting. Remember their judgement in the election petition of Plateau n Kano that was voided by the supreme court

I don't understand the judiciary. Their work is to interpret the law, yet after the interpretation and judgement, it will still be difficult to know the next action to take. Now in the case of Rivers state, who is currently the Speaker? People are struggling to understand the judgement. Too many confusion. Very pathetic situation.

That is not true. The appeal court just made a made a judgement on the jurisdiction of the high court not on whether the 24 lawmakers have defected and derby lost their sits in the house of assembly. INEC must organize a by election as soon as possible. This Wahab donæt no what he is saying

River state high court don't have the jurisdiction to entertain the matter at first instance, it is the federal high court that has the jurisdiction to entertain the matter at first instance. That is the mistake River State Government did.

Judicial rascality has been our problem.. ppl can choose to obey or not to obey court rulings

When was the court judge the case of river state and when was 40 construction houses was presented to judiciary, What is that telling u, wike can sale Nigeria to get himself satisfied for his selfish interest.

The suit was not challenging the outcome of the primary since it was instituted before the primary election.

The Delegates did not challenge the outcome but the processes leading to the primary. The SAN knows that you can not put something on nothing and expect it to stand. Challenging the outcome is different from challenging the processes.

Both federal high court and state high court have the same powers.

The court of appeal said the high court has not jurisdiction to entertain the matter of defection and that everything should return to status quo. The 27 lawmakers were recognised before oko jumbo when to court. Secondly justice omotosho judgement from the Federal high court recognizing the 27 lawmakers still persist because it has not been set aside..

In this Regards is very clear that the defection case have not been attended .the seats of those law maker have been declared vacant by the speaker of house assembly then by Edison and constitutionally has the right to do so .before martin went to court .so the seats still remain vacant on records as the matters have not been attended .

The lawmakers automatically loss their seats the day they cross carpeted to APC, thats the position of the law, period. I don't know why Nigerian corrupt judiciary are always twisting the law. They did the same in interpreting the 25% requirement in Abuja for anybody to be declared a president of Nigeria. It's a shame.
