@@GraceTruth7 What are you defending, I don't care if someone wants to do that in their private life (as long as they're not intentionally doing it to my face). But when a diplomat tries to force such ideas on me and the entire country (especially the children), knowing full well that we unilaterally reject it. Yeah. that I have a problem with. You're basically comparing Nollywood, to teachers teaching kids how to touch the opposite secs.

Why does Nigeria need another agreement with the EU? The US government couldn't get Nigeria to accept the West's "gender" concept, so the US decided to achieve its goal in Nigeria through the EU. And I want to believe that the executive branch of the Nigerian government was fully aware of the gender and human rights clauses when it signed the agreement. If the Nigerian government initially refused to sign the agreement, have the reasons for the refusal changed now? National Assembly over to you!

It has a simple global statistical knowledge that country with low female participation in their socio economic life are the least developed. So their is a negative relationship or correlation between economic development and gender inequality.

No one can say Nigerians are not aware that former president Jonathan was removed by the West because refused to sign gay marriage and removal of oil subside. But all this has been accepted by the present government and that's why Europe and America are struggling supporting the present government of Nigeria. But Nigerians should know that LGBT is not our problem. Our problems are Fulani oligarchy hegemony, corruption, intimidations, embezzling of public funds, etc. Nigeria needs constitution that will give citizens equal rights and opportunities, irrespective of status, tribe, color, gender, 🎉 religion, etc. Mathew 7:1, Do not judge so that you will not be judged! Gays are our brothers and sisters. We pray for them to be changed but not to judge them. Again Nigerians should remember Geneva convention 1948 that gives humbings right to leave, expression, etc.

Gender equality encompasses not only equality between men and women but also recognizes and advocates for the rights and equal treatment of individuals across the entire gender spectrum. This includes lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) individuals. The fight for gender equality extends to dismantling discriminatory practices based on sexual orientation, gender identity, and expression.

What is wrong with the people they call government; why are they acting as though they are bigger than the country; that comprises of various ethnocultural and religious groups, that one man wakes up one day and takes a decision that is binding on all the people, without seeking their consent; what is the meaning of such impunity?

Your *way around this* is to RESCIND your consent by sending a letter of withdrawal from the SAMOA Agreement to the UNs Treaty Secretariat. Hosts: Listen to your guest he is making sense. This is a matter governed by international law and international treaty. All Africa countries that signed the SAMOA Agreement have just reintroduced colonialism back in their respective countries in the form of neocolonialism. The Minister of Information that spoke does not understand international law and international treaties. When the collective West speak of “gender equality” what they explicitly mean is LGBTQ+. The Nigeria Government Official(s) who signed the Agreement should, must be impeached and sanctioned. A government official CANNOT sign an international treaty on behalf of the government binding the nation and its people without one, authorization in writing; two, the treaty in question had been discussed by Parliament with Senate having given their blessing. Only then can the President or his agent sign an international treaty on behalf of the country. Some of the clauses in this SAMOA Agreement cannot even fly in many States in the US for example Florida. The problem with Nigeria is that it has incompetent politicians and bureaucrats running around with important official title without understanding of what the position entails. If you do not rescind your signature or explicitly express your reservation to these clauses in question you would come to regret it and it will cost you money and threat of sanctions for not teaching and promoting LGBTQ+ in schools and public. The reading by the lady host means nothing, the so-called assurance is of no effect under international treaty. That is not the formal approach. The proper formal approach is as stated in the beginning para.1 or make reservation to Agreement and lodge it with the UNs Treaty Secretariat. Guide and maintain the sanctity of your culture.

Is it that the moderators are not aware that the definition of 'gender' has changed in the West or are they being mischievous. I'm really disappointed with channels television moderators.

Gender equality, also known as sexual equality or equality of the sexes, is the state of equal ease of access to resources and opportunities regardless of gender, including economic participation and decision-making; and the state of valuing different behaviors, aspirations, and needs equally, regardless of gender.[1]

Journalists some times aid government in covering illegality and anti people policies. The panel here did not allow the expert the opportunity to express himself adequately. They appear to be determined to cover the government and justify the inexcusable signing of that ungodly document that offend the moral and religious sensibilities of the Nigerian people.
