Exactly ..ppl are so petty always trying pin ppl against each other... Everyone has DIFFERENT STYLES she giving advice for those that would like to sing LIKE HER... Think about Michael Jackson... First does he sing like belting all the time.. I'm sure he use some of the same healthy techniques of singing But the style in which he sings is different some people have that Arie or nasally sound because it's a certain style not that they're trying to intentionally be correct

Absolutely but she is levels below those like christina, Mariah, Alicia, even Jessica S. She has the right amount of talent for the pop genre and is definitely entertaining but she won't go down as a top vocalist in my book.

No. But hey, she’s been making money for years mimicking people more talented than her so good for her. I really like a couple of her songs (“Say Something”, “Falling In Love Again”, & “Hurt”) when she’s not forcing her voice to do things that don’t make her sound like she’s screeching but mostly, I’d rather listen to Mariah Carey or Whitney Houston or Celine Dion. Now those are Masterclass Voices.

She’s very artistic and she doesn’t get enough cred for that either. But after the conservator I’m guessing she didn’t have much of a say anymore..

I think it has a lot to do with their moms too. Christina's mom supported and encouraged her. Britney's mom dictated and used her for her own selfishness. The stronger your support system is, the better you can fight the fight because you know they'll have your back.

There's another session from the same masterclass where she shows that the breathy, more nasal tone works better for a song like Genie in a Bottle. She actually even implied that the non-belty style required more concentration to stay on pitch

I can’t engage the diaphragm for crap only when I’m humming can I stay in that lower or how I call it the normal register. I can’t stay in chest for long I always slip into falsetto.
